Didn't see this posted anywhere. My 8 yr old son found the Spring game on the Comcast TV Schedule.

Today at 1pm Eastern/12 Central (our time)

Tuesday at 4:30 Eastern/3:30 Central

I believe it's a one hour broadcast.

Gee I hope we win :fingersx:

For anyone who finds this after 2pm today and starts cursing... listings say it will be replayed:

Tuesday, 5/5/09, 4:30 pm EST, CSS

Could someone possibly record this and post it to the Alliance Network?

Thanks

CRAP I missed it, I better record it on the next showing, I really really want to see this!

FWIW, it's more like a 'This week in GT Sports' show than coverage of the spring game. Wes called it a "Georgia Tech Football Preview" in closing the show. Basically, he interviews CPJ and several players about the upcoming season, with highlights of the game thrown in. Definitely worth watching, but not what I was expecting.

I understand that we don't get 100k rednecks showing up to our spring game like they do in the sec stadiums, but if CSS is filming it, I don't understand why they don't show it.

Was it "Georgia Tech Sports Today" ? I'm trying to find it to DVR it..

"Georgia Tech Spring Game" is the listing on Comcast. I was just saying that it plays more like an episode of "Georgia Tech Sports Today" than it does like watching an actual game.

GTD - Please post early and often - don't ever change your avatar - holy S**T!

Thanks TechFan! I like her alot myself.

Quick follow up ? for Berry et all, is the Alliance Network thing easy to use and worth the trouble? I've searched and quick-read past posts here, and while I don't have enough time to absorb the details at the moment, i'm intrigued. Is it relatively easy to use and good video, or alot of effort for grainy garbage? Thanks in advance.

The long and the short of it is that it's a P2P network of sorts... So, the quality varies depending on the source of the game... Most of the stuff is of decent quality - and there is a pretty good amount of variety in what games are available... Unfortunately it's entirely dependent on people keeping the client running so some things may take a long time to snag as a result (eg: only 1 person on has a certain game and they're only on once a week). The guy who started GT Alliance subnet is on 24/7 and has the most stuff - as its his idea to catalogue and make available those games. Hope that helps!

PS. The hardest thing about it is getting a key from an existing member, otherwise you can't join the GT Alliance subnet...

I have 100 GB shared and I try to leave it up all the time. I have just about all our wins from this year. Only U[sic]GA game is in HD, but others aren't terrible quality. One of the guys has about half a dozen of our games going back to about 2001. Plus several people have games like 90 Citrus Bowl, 99 Georgie game, 04 NCAA BB Tourney games. It's pretty awesome if you ask me. It's a god send!

For anyone who still hasn't seen it, my Comcast schedule shows another replay starting at 10pm tonight on CSS (~15min).

Thanks for the intel on the Alliance NW too. Whenever I can put more time into it, I may try to share my vids and pick up what's out there. The thing I'd like to get / have is the years of young Calvin.
