When Tech. left the SEC, which 2 SEC schools had winning series records against Tech.?

I will preface that I did indeed cheat (obviously) --I knew one of the two correct answers (Bama). Hey, I was bored so I added it up ...ok.

Alabama (19-23-3) --9-17-1 while both schools were SEC members.

and

Vanderbilt (13-15-2) --although GT was 8-5-1 against them when they were both members of the SEC, from '33 until GT's departure --but at the time GT left the SEC Vandy did have the edge in the overall series which dates back to 1892.

GT vs UGA was (27-26-5) after the '63 season.

The GT/Auburn series started out 1-16-1 with Auburn dominating the series --but GT did go 13-1-1 between '15-'30 and won 13 in a row between '41-'54. GT had the edge in games played between the schools while both were SEC members 18-11-1.

So Vandy was up there on a level with Alabama. Incredible. Lots of things have changed over the decades.

Vandy has actually won 542 games overall (45th all time) and are over .500 --GT has won 650 (17th).

Vandy has never won an SEC championship --to give you an idea of the timeframe of their 'glory days', they had won 11 SIAA and 2 Southern Conference titles all prior to 1924.

65-89 is correct. I knew someone would cheat. I thought it would've been UA and UT. But Vandy was strong in the very early 20th century.

There were other schools that were very strong during that time period as well. The service academies, the Ivies, etc. The University of Chicago was a founding member of the Big Ten and won it 5 or 6 times but saw the writing on the wall as the 30's drew to a close and opted to de-emphasize athletics.
