How about some actual football talk today?

I’ll start with BC’s injury report for the game:

OUT:
WR CJ Lewis (finger) got surgery and will be out for the season.

DB Jason Maitre (shoulder) is in the same boat due to surgery, putting an end to an excellent season for him.

PROBABLE:

OL Tyler Vrabel (upper body) is expected to return this week after several weeks of battling injury. His return would certainly stabilize an offensive line that performed much better last week, but undoubtedly has missed full-strength Vrabel.

QUESTIONABLE:

TE Trae Barry (knee) is questionable after missing last week’s game. Barry is a big factor in an effective BC passing game, so hopefully he can go.

DB Brandon Sebastian also has a knee injury and is questionable for Saturday.

DOUBTFUL:

LB Isaiah Graham-Mobley (upper body)

I had a vision the other night- maybe a dream , maybe a hallucination
We beat BC in a close one
Then it gets weird
In a defensive battle we take ND to OT
In OT we go first and kick a FG
The we intercept a tipped pass and win
Against Ga we take and early lead and are hanging on
but Georgia coming on like gang busters in late 3rd ga scores to make it 27-17
Tech gets a FG to get to 30
but Ga marching down field again
Swilling makes diving interception
We then death march it down the field like a storm tide
Unstoppable
Little by little
The Mason bursts for score on 3rd and five from the 12
37 - 17 and Georgie throws one last interception to end it

yeah I know
Collins is regarded as being instrumental in one of the biggest turnaround ever
And it all works out
Then the cops bust in and take all my crack

Dang it, I’ll have what you’re having and be happy about it.

Anybody know how much turnover BC has had since last year? They worked us pretty good (48-27?), and while we’re scoring more, I don’t know that we’re 3+ TDs better than last year unless they’re significantly worse.

"cause I got high,
cause I got high,
cause I got high, la da da da da"

Apparently we had three fumbles and a pick last year, and a failed onside kick in the first half. Maybe if we can limit turnovers we can keep it closer this year.

CJ Lewis scored 2 early TDs for them last year, so maybe he’s a big loss for them.

Jurkovec is the story for them. I seem to recall him running a bunch on us last year and looking like you’d expect from a big slow QB... goes to how much open grass he had. Looks like he played the 1st 2 games, got hurt, played VT. I think there is a big gap between him and #2QB so throw their record and passing stats to date out the window.

The QB is a bit of an unknown situation cause he's back, but is he back 100%? He didn't pass for a whole lot (or pass a whole lot at all) against VT.

You don't remember the Matt Ryan years when his OL held on every play and it was called maybe 20% of the time?
I do. But ‘rivalry’? With Boston College? Let’s not get carried away.

Well we haven’t had a failed onside all year, so there’s that.

Yeah, a recap I read said he ran for 94 on us last year.

Ok, I’ll ask it. Does he have a pulse? Does he know the routes his receivers will run? Can he physically throw the ball? If so, it’s a known situation.

Our defensive gameplan should be to break him
