GT vs BC Pre-Game Discussion

I had a vision the other night- maybe a dream , maybe a hallucination
We beat BC in a close one
Then it gets weird
In a defensive battle we take ND to OT
In OT we go first and kick a FG
The we intercept a tipped pass and win
Against Ga we take and early lead and are hanging on
but Georgia coming on like gang busters in late 3rd ga scores to make it 27-17
Tech gets a FG to get to 30
but Ga marching down field again
Swilling makes diving interception
We then death march it down the field like a storm tide
Unstoppable
Little by little
The Mason bursts for score on 3rd and five from the 12
37 - 17 and Georgie throws one last interception to end it

yeah I know
Collins is regarded as being instrumental in one of the biggest turnaround ever
And it all works out
Then the cops bust in and take all my crack
Behold, it is the seer whose coming was foretold to us

by his mom who heard the slaps of flesh from hand to thigh through his bedroom door.

How about some actual football talk today?

I’ll start with BC’s injury report for the game:

OUT:
WR CJ Lewis (finger) got surgery and will be out for the season.

DB Jason Maitre (shoulder) is in the same boat due to surgery, putting an end to an excellent season for him.

PROBABLE:

OL Tyler Vrabel (upper body) is expected to return this week after several weeks of battling injury. His return would certainly stabilize an offensive line that performed much better last week, but undoubtedly has missed full-strength Vrabel.

QUESTIONABLE:

TE Trae Barry (knee) is questionable after missing last week’s game. Barry is a big factor in an effective BC passing game, so hopefully he can go.

DB Brandon Sebastian also has a knee injury and is questionable for Saturday.

DOUBTFUL:

LB Isaiah Graham-Mobley (upper body)

I think we'll beat BC. We really need to get something positive going before ND and Georgia.

A lot of recruits had to back out of coming to the game tomorrow since they are still playing in their respective playoffs, but we should still be hosting quite a few too - including some current commits.

I do. But ‘rivalry’? With Boston College? Let’s not get carried away.
Oh, it’s a rivalry. It’s a rivalry that spans the great oceans and continents. Dublin came to a standstill when Boston vs Georgia was in town (those that were there will get it…)

I wasn't there, but understand the reference. Funny as öööö! Zany Irishmen :rotfl:.

I bought two of those shirts.

I’m afraid we get hammered today with BC’s QB back. I hope I’m wrong because if we do lose badly, the message boards will get ugly.

There’s a rumor floating that Yates will be starting today.

Interesting…Well we played our best game when Yates started and Sims subbed in for him. Maybe that’s the strat moving forward.

Did you change your sheets when you woke up?

When your starting QB throws the ball out of bounds on 4th down to end the game, he doesn’t deserve to start. öööö like that is unacceptable.

Something definitely seemed off about Sims last week. It’s not like we really had a chance on that last play anyway, but it was a shockingly bad throw. But Yates was unavailable last week, so I wonder what’s going on.

Let’s hope the light bulb came on sometime during the week. We need to score early & often and put these guys away. It should not be a close game. Easy win, ripe for the picking today.
