PJ needs to come out and tell the truth about Nesbitt.
And pray tell, what is the truth?
You want the truth? You can't handle the truth. I ordered the code red. Seriously--it really isn't our business.

Well I guess it's safe to say CPJ had his first "chanesque" game @ GT today.
What about the money Tech fans are out this week, because the spread wasn't covered?I've figured it out...PJ wanted all of the Tech fans to make big money gambling on Tech next week, so he purposely kept this one unbearably close to give us a favorable spread against Clemson...GENIUS!!!

It's your own fault for betting on the spread. I've been burned on the spread because guess what - coaches play for the W, they don't play for the spread. Betting on the spread is just depressing...so I don't do it anymore.
Of course, tonight's game was also depressing, but to be fair it should've been 10 - 0...bullcrap call by the refs.
I was at the game. Can someone who listened tell me what the personal foul on MJ was about?
Out of all the things that went wrong today with CPJ's offense, I don't think calling the fake punt would have been on my list. I think you are thinking about the call in a different way than I am... I particularly don't think he called it because he thought this would be the only way to win. I think he was using this game more or less as another practice session and he wanted to mix it up a little bit since he's famous for keeping his offense on the field on 4th downs. This game was the worst game of the season. I feel worse after this game than after the VT game. The reason why is because I lost loads of respect for CPJ, and I had a LARGE amount of respect for him before this game. The first play where I really started to get hacked off was the play when we decided to pull a fake punt against a lesser opponent. If you are playing an oppenent with worse athletes in D-II, you beat them with your offense and defense: not trick plays. When he chose that fake punt, he was basically telling the other team that in order to defeat them he had to trick them. That is showing a lack of confidence in your offense and defense.
If the offensive line doesn't get more than a biatching from CPJ this coming week, we're back in Chan-era again where we pat them on their backs for mistakes. I can't imagine CPJ doing that though and I know our o-line is going to hear it come Monday. I do have to say that I am very disappointed in CPJ and the offensive line coach for not doing a very good job teaching them. They are young so I'm sure they are eager to learn. We're halfway through the season now and they're still significantly lacking. Then, after GW scored the TD, he was biatching at the refs about the call instead of biatching out his offense (offensive line in particular) to get them psyched up for the next series.
Lastly, you have Nesbitt in FULL PADS on the sideline. Full pads means that you are cleared by the trainers to play. That is the case for any football team. So why the heck didn't he allow him to play. I was watching Nesbitt on the sideline and he kept going up to one of the assistants and talking to him. It looked like he was begging to go in b/c the assistant kept shaking his head after he would talk to him.
