I just wanted to take a moment to wish the Georgia Bulldogs all the best tonight in the BCS title game. Thanks to the ajc I've really gotten to "Know Your Dawgs" this season. So give it your all tonight Knowshon --Give 'em hell Stafford --Coach Richt, if the going gets tough in the third quarter just gather the boys together on the sideline and get them fired up just like you did against our beloved Jackets.

Of course they're not. Bama, UF and of course GT saw to it to put an end to that nonsense. So as always, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (and every leap year) ...THWG!

They should hang a banner for that much like the Dookies do in basketball. Duke hangs a banner for finishing the regular season ranked #1 (no matter how bad they flame out in the tournament).

Is this in the AP poll, or is this finishing the ACC regular season ranked #1?

No one responded when I said this in another thread, but I think we should try and mend the fences with our brethen to the north in Athens, and we stingtalkers should get a collection going and buy rings for the entire UGA team to commemorate their #1 preseason ranking.

...I'm sorry, I threw up in my mouth a little bit when I said brethren...

Right, you just lost to us. Tough luck beating a team we laid an egg to but losing to us. Better luck next season, perhaps you'll finish higher than your preseason ranking!

It's the AP poll. There was a picture of the banner online at some point, but I can't find it now. It said something to the effect of "#1: 199x-9x AP Final Regular Season Ranking"
