GTAA email

reminds me of when they gave out the Calvin Johnson bobbleheads .. they were out by the time we walked in. then i saw multiple Miami fans carrying them around. i emailed the AA and they shipped me one the next week.
My old pal @ThomastonJacket went in early and got me one for my grandson.

I have some really good friends.

I guess there was some kind of free water bottle thing for WCU, and now I hear there was a free hat thing for Ole Miss. I’m a 20+ year season ticket holder and didn’t get either. Of course, my seats in 127 (east side beside the club seats) have turned into visitor sections over the last few years…

The water bottles were on the lower level of the north and the entrance to the west stands. I saw something about the hats, but I haven't seen them anywhere.

An email asking me to fund anything other than a kickstarter to kick the coach out is really ill-timed right now.

All they had to say is "we're removing CGC" and they can have my brisket and bourbon budget for a year.

Perhaps it's time to book the band that does Safety Dance for a show on our concert friendly turf.

That’s Men Without Hats, but in a similar vein, I did see A Flock Of Seagulls (“I Ran”) play a pregame show in front of the old Heisman Gym before an FSU game, maybe 1998 or so?

Except they were not giving them away at all the gates. None were being given at the North Avenue Gate where we enter the upper east deck. A friend of mine went to the North Stands gate to find out why, and he was told that was a visitors' gate. WTF??? Although overall diminished attendance over the past 20 years had greatly decreased the number of ST holders in the upper east, that is still considered a Tech section, and we are definitely not visitors. Just another example of how the powers that be don't have a clue !!!
Go in the west stands gate NW side and just walk the student section around.

Wow. It's literally like those spam calls and emails everyone gets.

"Take care of this important matter." That's the type of thing they use to trick old people into calling. Really unbelievable and an awful look.
Maybe they should be reported to the BBB.

Perhaps Men Without Water Bottles can open. Would also like to see Men Without Chick-Fil-A Sandwiches to complete some old school BDS promotions gone wrong. All football season ticket holders charged extra of course.

There was a Dook blue GT water bottle last week and a white hat with Buzz on it this week. I like the hat. The water bottle not so much.

Yeah, I saw that, too.

We scored the first time we got the ball and never sniffed the end zone again.

When I first saw the email and I thought the GTAA was looking to get a pulse of the fan base. But yeah its a recorded history deal looking to sell a travel bag and book for ~$450
Yeah, it's a scam setup... fraternities, GTAA, GIT, professional military organinzations, et al, you name it, have been hoodwinked into this believing this is a legitimate group. It's not.

I park on the other side of the downtown connector. I shouldn't have to go in any gate other than the North Ave gate. They need to provide for ALL Tech fans, not just a select few.
How hard is it to move where you park? A2/Student Center is where it is at.

BTW, the new home of the Ramblin' Wreck next to the Student Center is gonna be sweet.

I tailgate with a bunch of friends who all sit in either the upper north or the lower or upper east. They have no desire (nor do I) to find other parking.

Shame. New Student Center is nice. Clean bathrooms. Bookstore. Chick Fil A. Panda Express. Tons of room. Easy walk to stadium. No hobos wandering around.

I imagine it is a good bit more expensive to park there too. But another reason for parking on the other side of the connector si access from and to I-20 and I-75/85. I was out of the parking lot and on my way back to Augusta within 15 minutes of getting back to the parking lot. Sometimes, it doesn't even take that long.
