GT averages only 247 yds/game total. Tech averages 99 ypg rushing for 6th in the ACC & 148 ypg passing for 7th ACC. The next lowest is Virginia @ 271.5 yd/gm. Maryland is dead last with 209 yds/gm. Can u believe Fridgen is last in the ACC in Offense? NC St is 1st getting 502/gm.
Ga Tech's defense is 1st in the ACC in rush defense, giving up only 63 ypg. The pass D is rated 4th ACC. The total Defense is giving up only 296 ypg. FSU is 1st allowing 245 ypg.
GT's 8th best Offense vs FSU's 1st best D. GT's 4th best D vs FSU's #2 Offense (496 ypg). Looks like a bad mismatch on paper.

We are two games into the season. You also have to look at who we played the first two games compared to FSU and the other ACC teams for that matter.

Playing a game against the Auburn defense is alot different than playing against UNC.

When these first three games are over our schedule will easily have been the toughest in the conference.
