He only had 2 good seasons in 6 years. Didn't you want CPJ fired for pretty similar results? If he wins 7-8 games most years with Auburn players, what do you think is gonna happen at GT?

Bama, LSU, Miss St, TAMU, Ole Miss, Arky
vs
Clemson, VPISU, Miami, Duke, Pitt, UNC, UVA

I don't want him, but all 7-8 wins are not created equally.

Find a post where I said I want to fire CPJ. I’ve maintained I favored change but was okay with CPJ. My issue with cpj was that he is not a CEO he’s a OC.

Who the öööö do you want to come here? Someone whose winning 14 games a year with MIT players? Okay buddy.

I honestly think it would be a great hire, but it won't happen. If he wanted to leave Auburn, he would've gone to Arkansas last year and his stock would've been at its highest. But he didn't and I just can't see him coming here.

He’s not coming here and Auburn isn’t paying him $32M to go away. I like his offense and think he’d do well here against our pansy ass schedule but probably true for everyone not named Ben Fisenhunt

This is only his second season out of six in which Auburn will go to a bowl worse than the Outback Bowl. NY6 bowls in three of those years.

He's not well-received at Auburn because he's not Nick Saban, but I'd gladly take him. I think we also have personnel that he could work with. Auburn only threw it about 20 times a game before Stidham.

Right. He's doing it all in the toughest division in college football (sorry, it is).

The SEC board has actually had a low rumble about some deal between Tech and Auburn which involves Malzahn coming here and Auburn paying money to make it happen.

It’s probably wishful thinking from discontent Auburn fans over the $32m buyout, but not an idea hatched here.

I hope you is right

Rhett Lashlee is the genius behind Malzahn’s success. If you want that kind of offense go after the guy who built it for 1/6 the price of Malzahn.

Not sure how much you can chalk up Auburn's success in 2010 to a grad assistant
