1. Antonneous Clayton: I hope he finally has a breakout year, has been a really tough path for him. Hard not to like the guy.

2. Marquez Edward: very promising prospect out of high school, showed flashes last year but has not been talked a lot about in the preseason.

Sims and Gibbs. Those two guys have a breakout year and we win. We win, and we win big. Yeah, defense wins championships, etc, etc. but we have to score points first.

On Defense:
J. Thomas - I want to see him have a great season. He hasn't developed quite the way I thought he would after his freshman year. I'm pulling for him to be dominant on the back end.
S. Yondjouen - He looked like he was starting to become our best pass rusher last year before injuries shut him down. We need a pass rush threat and this guy looks like he might be it.

On Offense:
Sims Sims Sims. I just want to see continued improvement over last year. I don't expect him to be completely polished yet, but he needs to be better than last year.
OL - I just want to see the young guys continue to develop. We've plugged some holes with experienced transfers, but that is a short term answer. I think we have some good freshman bodies on the roster, but will they be able to step up when needed and help fix the OL issues of the past few years?

I want to see what our new captain Eley brings to the table at linebacker. He’s #10 like Sims is.

Also, Keion White and Antonneous Clayton at the 2 DE positions. We won’t see KW until Clemson though

I want our team to dominate the football world like no team has ever dominated before. I want it to be almost like we have skipped an evolutionary step and are physically and mentally dominant over any team we play from now until the end of all time.

Other than that, I just want the guys to have fun.

Keion and AC play the same position, so doubtful you'll see both on the field at the same time unless it's a special situation.

Jeff Sims - more than just knowing his development is key to the season, I really really like the young man.

TK - had to miss what I was hoping would be a breakout season last year for the lynch-pin position on a defense needing much improvement.

JP Mason - Gibbs is electric, but JP is a workhorse with draft potential who I'd not see get overshadowed and underused, and I hope we find ways to have them on the field together (e.g. Gibbs in slot?)

They can't play on opposite ends?
Those are 2 different positions. Field/boundary, strong/weak however you want to call it. Keion and AC both play SDE. The lighter/quicker guys like Domineck, Kevin Harris, etc. play WDE. Very seldom will you see us with 2 SDE in unless it's some sort of jumbo package run stopping set, but then you may even have 3 DT's and one SDE in.

So win every game 223-0?

1. Pnope - he has struggled the past few seasons, time for him to have a break out season with a revamped OL and shed the label
2. Thacker - has the pieces now to show what the D will be going forward
