Guys, you have to read this prediction from ESPN

I'm more of a belly man myself (I can't read any of bellyseries posts) hence the lovely lady in my avatar. :)

Bellies and smiles > tatas.

Although, tatas can make up for a lot of other things.

Gotta love that face. Face and booty are two important things. Need something to look at from both sides.

the most telling part of that whole pile of absolute BS is their score prediction which was 31-28 miami......... the way it was written you would think the score would be 31-3.... nothing like a little c y a after a loaded article like that to back up your own opinions:mad:

Do we know this for sure? Clemson guy in my office said their O line sucked their first game vs MTSU.

And we all (strike that)...

And some here said that Nesbitt sucked after the game against Clemson.

I think when you expect your great players to play great and they don't then they get unfair reps. Kind of like how we're talking about how bad our offense was at running when we ran it for over 300.

I think (read, no proof), that Clemson's Oline is much better than Miami's Oline. Or maybe I'm just hoping this. :) Otherwise it may be a long night.

My favorite line from the ESPN article is this:

While the Hurricanes won’t shut the run down, they are more familiar with Georgia Tech’s triple-option attack after playing against it last season so look for them to come up with a few timely stops.
Being familiar with something, and being able to actually stop something are two entirely different things. The only reason Miami was able to stop our running game last season was because the game ended. Maybe Shannon will develop an effective game plan to stop it this time, but saying Miami will be better simply because they played us last year is absurd.

After reading that I would be lead to believe that this record is in jeopardy.

Not only can their offense score at will, but if our offense don git dar fu** mind rite we'z gon b skrewd.

Yeah, we're doomed. Anybody want to go bowling Thursday night?

Actually, I am going down to Pozzuoli Thursday night and get drunk before the game. My girl will drive me home, and hopefully I will stay awake until 2 AM to watch the game and feel ****ty Friday morning for work.

Ah, the sacrifices I have to make being in Italy.

Miami will win GUARANTEED! Miami has never lost at home on Thursay nights. Before last season lost to Georgia Tech Miami was 13-0 on Thursday night games. Here is the reason why we brought in Lovett. His UNC team stomped GT 28-7. Also I wouldn't mind seeing some rain! With the infield being exposed and GT being a running team hand offs can get sloppy. The Canes need to execute plain and simple. The players are tired of hearing about last year game. Canes fan go out to the game, support the team. I will be doing that here in Nebraska Go Canes!

Score: UNC-28 GT- 7
First downs: GT- 20, UNC- 13
Passing yds: GT- 97, UNC- 128
Rushing yds: GT- 326, UNC- 186
Total yds: GT- 423, UNC -314
Turnovers: GT- 3, UNC- 0

GT turned the ball over ON DOWNS on UNC's 45 and 18 in the first half and missed two 40+ yard field goals in the first half. UNC's three fourth quarter TD drives started inside GT's 40.

Yes, but a lot of times GT fans will quote stats showing that we did better than the score indicated.

Maybe so, but the fact is that we had a long run by JD late in the UNC game that skewed the stats and we did lose the game. Could not care less on the offensive stats if we can win the game and I don't take a lot of comfort in winning a stats battle if we lose.
