Hardest coaching jobs in CFB

This list is idiotic.

LSU fired their head coach 20 months after an undefeated 15-0 season where they beat Saban's Bama at Bama and won the Natty in front of home fans in New Orleans. In fact, two different LSU coaches have won natties in the past 15 years, and LSU fired them both. And neither one had a losing season.

The situation varies. The dumbasses Arkansas had since Petrino got on the bike made it look harder than Tech but Pittman changed that. Actually a change in AD made Pittman possible so that changed it. That is probably where we need to look. Arkansas' AD has all 3 major sports looking up (baseball is not better but the facilities got a big boost). It is just not as hard there.

They went from Chad Morris (provably worse than Collins) to 9-4 while we have been stuck on 3-9.

Not sure if serious or not but... there is quite a shortage of actual recruits from Nebraska. Only 10 listed for 2023 class, for example.

subtle, I thought you were replying to yourself

What team on that list has higher expectations with fewer resources? I don't see one. We are #1. No team has our expectations versus the resources and situation.

Duke, for instance, has way lower expectations than us so it's an easier job. Auburn has resources to the moon. Paul Johnson would've won a national championship there easy.

How can Duke’s job be more difficult than GT’s? The Dookies have a much wider variety of Bachelor Degree programs than we do. So much easier to recruit for and for SAs to meet the degree progress requirements

Because it's a hoops school with no football facilities to speak of, a high school caliber stadium that is empty even when they are relatively decent . Not everything is about academics

With a city the size of Atl, it is implausible to think a good product won’t fill up the stadium. The academic standards are overstated on getting players in the school. Have to keep ‘em on campus. The portal makes it harder. How come the alums don’t get the NIL money going?

CGC being incompetent doesn’t change the fact that we have a fanbase with reasonable expectations and are in the middle of one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country.

We’re bowling every year with a halfway decent coach. And as long as he’s doing it out of shotgun he’ll have a home here for awhile.
