Has the corner been turned?

Seven things:
1. FSU is for real. Maryland only scored 3 offensive points against them. FSU gave Maryland a 10 point start and then smothered them with 38 unanswered points.
2. GT is outmanned by FSU. We were outmanned by Auburn, but it was "heart" that Auburn could not conquer.
3. FSU has been known to target a player for injury. They determined to get little Joe in one game, and they did. I think that Saturday's target will be Reggie.
4. Fans who quickly turn in favor of GT on the basis of one game will even more quickly turn if we lose Saturday to at team which could be the eventual national champions.
5. Please pray for God to shield the Jackets from injuries, to give us favorable calls from the refs and give us favorable bounces of that strangely shaped ball.
6.
7. Turnovers will be the key to the game if GT plays with the stout heart that was demonstrated last week.

I don't know if we have really turned a corner, but it sure feels like it. It feels good.

Using the current Sagarin rankings as a predictor we would finish 8-4 this year; we would lose to FSU, Wake Forest, and UGA the rest of the way. I think that is a little too optimistic for this team but I think 6 or 7 games is possible if there are no major injuries.

I am not sure a corner was turned last Saturday but I do consider it to be a most pleasant moment during a period of transition. We will have to have a couple of really good recruiting classes before we are where we all want to be.

I agree with you Kirb...

The clemson game is HUGE...

By the way in answer to your question: Lets just say my age is Near 50 and i will leave it at that...
I guess i got into a childish Pi--- Game with the youngster yesterday....

But Ive thought all along that the clemson Game is Huge..if we can win all our Home Games and beat Duke and Vandy on the Road it will mean a good season..considering the Flunkgate thing...

At Wake will be very tough and it remains to be seen if Maryland and NC.state will be that good..we will know a lot about UGag..Mid season...So its still way to early to forcast anything yet...If you will remember we had a pretty good season last year till Hollings went down...we cant afford anymore DLineman to go down and of course we cant lose Ball..Heck we cant lose hardly anybody and expect to finish strong...Too little depth..But Clemson game is HUGE...

Don't know if we've turned the corner yet, time will tell... Least we aren't like FSU, they are always standing on the corner...
