Jackets got whipped. Plain and simple. Better, more focused, better prepared team won. J Harris was darn near right - tonight their offense was almost unstoppable.

Don't think it means we will lose the rest of our games. Conversely, I don't think it means UM is going to win the rest of theirs.

I do think it means that we have a lot to work on to get back to 9 wins and be even mentioned in the argument for conference champs. It can be done. The young men wearing the white and gold have it in them, or they wouldn't be there. CPJ and his staff have a rebuilding job to do this week, and I look to next Saturday as the first positive sign of that rebuilding project.

GO JACKETS!!

Solid post Aiken. This is the attitude we need after a humbling night.

Hear hear. God it is tough, but lets suck it up.

We lost some games last year, and still did fine.

The bottom line was that we didn't have our **** minds rite.

We've got some time to get our **** together before Carolina, and we're not out of the ACC by any means - but we've got a lot to fix.

I didn't think we could look this bad --but we do. With exception of a couple of long td runs and a couple of trick plays I haven't seen a whole lot to get excited about here with 25% of the season behind us now.

Miami's linemen > Tech's linemen

It all came down to that simple principle. We were dominated in the trenches and will not win games if we can't pressure the opposing QB and can't execute our blocking assignments on offense.

Hopefully the long week will help them get some gas back in the tanks because they were dead in the water early tonight. Our minds weren't rite tonight and it showed.

Take it in, learn from it and move on fellas. Let's get our mojo back next weekend.

this is the kind of post i like seeing. its one of a few respectable ones tonight. harris was right. we couldn't stop them. i hate seeing those cocky thugs win, but tonight they deserved it. at least in the way that they played.

i am definitely interested to see what happens with them the rest of the year and obviously interested to see how we respond. we havent looked like ourselves yet this year. at least not like the team from last year. when we ran out of the tunnel tonight we looked dead. i couldn't believe it. where is that team from last year.

i think we will bounce back, but man we have to improve on the lines and get back to executing our blocks. we flat out played piss poor tonight. our defense looked like a peewee team. i felt like miami was playing us like a video game.

I was telling friends that our weakness becomes more exposed as we play better opponents. I saw it with JSU, more so with Clemson. We played a better opponent tonight, and if our weaknesses aren't obvious by now....

Aiken's post ring true, we just were out played tonight. Doesn't mean the end of the world or the season, just means CPJ needs to do his thing a bit more. I understand GTpilot's blog whole heartedly. Our line was just simply beat tonight on both sides overall. I wish I could argue this with more evidence, but Miami was a better team tonight, next week who know??
