Have we really fallen so far?

I absolutely cannot believe that I'm hearing all this "I told you we shouldn't have fired CG", and "DRad is getting pushed around"

My God people, it was the right move to fire CG! Personally I think he was (is) a good coach but he was not the RIGHT coach. Let's move on!

What is all the hand wringing and second guessing? I trust DRad and I know he'll do the right thing. Let's let the process play out!

We could petition the ACC to have a 3rd division, only for Bowdens.

Everyone needs to get over this idea that losing some recruits this year is some sort of major deal.

Recruits are lost in every coaching transition, period. If we were worried about losing recruits, we never should have fired our coach, no matter who he is/was.

While I personally don't think we should have fired CCG - I think he had the program headed in the right direction - it's not so much firing Chan that's the problem. It's firing Chan then clearly having no idea what to do next.

It's excusable to fire a winning coach at Georgia Tech to bring in a clear upgrade. It's worse than foolish to fire a winning coach to muddle through a coaching search with the rest of the NCAA, with no clear successor.

When this all started, I partly didn't want to fire Chan because I thought we'd have to compete with Nebraska, Michigan and Texas A&M for a new coach. Well, I was wrong. Apparently we're competing with SMU, Duke and Navy for a new coach. And so far, it doesn't look good.

We all wanted GT to be a big-time program. But if we can't beat SMU and Duke for a coach, well, I hate to say it, but we ARE. NOT. BIG-TIME.

We had a great idea what to do next... and then Clough said no.
