The Orange Bowl of today is just a shell of what it used to be. So yes, it is just another bowl game.

Definitely don't have to love CPJ to be a Tech fan, but if "we are better than CPJ," then I am still waiting for a better plan than spending money we don't have to go get coaches we cannot afford.
LANE KIFFIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Argues that a coach can’t be fired for a “bad season or two”.

Also argues that PJ is a “good” coach based on exactly two seasons 2009 and 2014. Every other season of his is either mediocre or ööööty. And in all honesty, 2009 needs an asterisk by it. Losses to bad UGA team, blown out by Iowa.
Won the coastal 4 times you forgot to mention. Won coach of the yr 3 times you forgot to mention. Should I go on.

It appears that the metric for success for some folks is conference and national titles. I would absolutely love for that to be a reasonable standard for successful GT coaches. It isn't right now, but maybe under Stansbury's leadership, we will get there. I don't think a coaching change by itself would get us any closer to that.

I'm glad enough about this. He has two years to beat Georgia again. Three losses in a row should be grounds for dismissal. That plus keep us winning more than not and don't recruits kids who get their names in the newspaper in a bad way.

So it is possible to recruit better at Tech regardless of what Johnson sycophants would like one to believe.
Didn't Gailey recruit a bunch of players who couldn't make it academically? Or was that O'Leary?

It was O’Leary. And it wasn’t so much that they couldn’t make it, it was the GTAA was staffed by a bunch of mouth breathing retards who mishandled the quarter to semester transition.

“Won” the coastal 4 times. One year we “won” at 6-6, wow so impressive.

The ACC sucked in most of those years and all those coaches have been fired.

6-6 is not a good record. So why keep PJ?
Maybe, just maybe, with a good QB he can turn it around in the ACC.

Like I said before, doesn't matter what CPJ does, you won't support him. That's fine, but we can save a lot of keystrokes if we just get to that point instead of pretending that your issue with him is based on his failure to meet any realistic expectation as defined in comparison to anyone who has coached at Tech since 1966.

I suppose if he wins the national championship this year, you will simply point out that the rest of the FBS simply sucked and that anybody could have done it.

I'm calling it a day.
