For me, I had seen enough of Chan Gailey to know that the program had gone as far as it could go with him --maybe it was after the ACCCG, maybe it was prior to that, I really no longer remember. The reason I don't remember is that I have forgotten about it and moved on.
I'll admit to never wanting him here in the first place, but I can say that I more than gave him the benefit of the doubt and supported him for as long as I could possibly stand it.
As far as RB, I have been out front about the fact that I did not like him --as a player on the field, the way he carried himself on the field, and some of the stupid comments he made off the field. Chan didn't help himself in my eyes by sticking with him for four years.
I see no reason for the comparison when Paul Johnson has been here for eight games now and Josh Nesbitt has QB'ed less games than that.
Obviously I'm just not getting the point of what you were attempting to point out beej.
