We need more stars. LOL
5 ACC teams in the top 10 vs. only 3 SEC teams

Yes, the autistic children will say oh it's too early or we don't have enough stars or they got more 4 stars or blablabla. The real takeaway is I don't remember the last time we were ahead of uga in any point of recruiting. And usually by this time of the offseason uga already has a top 5 class. You autists can look at it any way you want, but what is reality is that the Cesspool will be downstream of Georgia Tech for a very long time.
There really wasn't a lot of information out there on the recruiting procedures of the previous regime. But I don't think they were working on kids two years ahead of time like the present staff is. Just that alone would be reason to expect big things going forward.I'm not saying stars are everything, but we have 12 commits. Imagine that in a coaching change where we were depleted on the defensive depth. Will next year be progress from this one? I said before it is a stellar class for GT, and I presume recruiting will get better with CGC.
UGA will always pull in a "good" class because people want to go there for the party. Same with Miami... to a large degree it doesn't matter who the coach is. Kirby pulled Top-5 classes every since since he got to Athens and I think he pulled in consensus #1 classes the last 2 or 3 years. He's not going to stay out of the Top 10 this year IMO. It will be interesting to see what happens, though. He stole a lot of recruits out of Alabama his first couple years and they dropped down several spots. Now, he has more direct competition with Mullen at UF, Brown at UNC, & Collins at GT. What's interesting to me is how Clemson never stole a Top-3 class. They always seem to be in the bottom part of the Top-10. I think there is still some SEC ranking bias because Clemson is putting some monsters on the field.
Last I looked at this it was cause Clemson isnt processing players so their classes arent 25 every year. Teams like Bama that run off misses edge out Clemson because you are comparing 25 to 20.UGA will always pull in a "good" class because people want to go there for the party. I think you are giving Kirby too much credit. I think he had a #1 class his first or second year and Bama has had all the other #1 classes. I think UGA will stay in the top 10; but it would not surprise me if they dropped out of the top 5. I think Kirby is trending down now.
An upset on Nov. 29 would be a resounding blow.Just checked both sites and he was #1 back to back. Maybe he is trending down but I will need to see it on paper first to agree on that. Still a long way to go for 2020. If he drops out of the top-10 then you know things have gone off the rails in Athens.

This marks the eighth time in the last nine years that Bama will end National Signing Day with the No. 1 class. (Georgia won last year.) It is expected, based on 247Sports projections, that the Tide's Class of 2019 will be one of the highest ranked of all time.
