How much do you think this would cost and is it allowed/feasible. I know women’s basketball teams do this. Could a football team? It may be money well spent for a team lack ours that continually lacks talent and size depth. Just a thought.

I should clarify. I know many women’s teams practice against men, if they’re paid us probably less clear.

Bobby Boucher how to you get so many sacks?
Basically, I start tackling the quarterback, unless the running back is hotter. Then I start tackling her.

Wait, I thought we were going to upgrade to the Alabama/Georgia model. You just mean to scrimmage?
I guess what got me thinking this way is someone brought up how bad the defense was under Johnson, and if we got someone like Chadwell who has a specialized offense is there a way we could recruit system players but still field a scout team that is not only capable but actually pretty dang good at football and could dedicate their entire time to film study and the like of our opponents.

What source do you propose to provide this team? I don’t see a lot of semipro football out there.

Women can practice against good HS teams (in most sports) and get pushed.

No way it would be allowed. Saban's army of analysts isn't even allowed to talk to players, no way you could hire a bunch of people to actually play with them.

You mean something like this....

Could save the GTAA a lot of money if @BeeStorm could put together a StinGTalk football team. I call dibs on one corner position.

Might sound like a good idea right up until some UGA booster slips a semi-pro player a few bills to give a player a season ending injury during practice.

I like the idea. Business proposal: Offer semi-pro scout teams to emulate whatever team you're playing on Saturday. Playing Georgia? OK, for $100k we'll send you the configuration of comparable players who have been scouting and copying their offense/defense all year.

That'd be a huge advantage over using a team of scrubs trained up in a few days! You could better prepare for unique systems and exceptional (at the college level) players.
