We had our chances. A couple one possession and OT losses. If he went 5-5 he’d have a statue out front. 2009 really set us back.

Ha! I didn’t read the post about the statue. I really wish we had just gone all in on the option but I understand I’m in the minority. Rules changes aren’t holding Air Force back. They will likely be in a NY6 bowl (is that still a thing?). It would be cheaper and would’ve opened up some NIL niche markets as the premier Option team.

Will this thread put an end to the belief by some that we had Top 10 rated defenses under Tenuta? Probably not.
