Mostly. You still have USC v Notre Dame type games as well, a few historical rivalries that are bot geographically based but more based on historical matchups

Yep. This will result in $$$$ and another solid win. It will also increase our ranking before the win, as all Sec opponents have to be ranked before they play.

It may make it an easier sell. But you’re right. At the time Ole Miss wasn’t what they are now though and I think there were rumors they were trying to move the game or get out of it entirely.
 
I think this is excellent.

We get a LOT of street cred by going toe to toe with top third teams from the sec.
 
Aren’t the BDS renovations supposed to be occurring by 2026, as in there wouldn’t be any games played at BDS?

Would we give Tennessee a portion of the MBS gate to sweeten the pot? Or do you think MBS is just that big a draw that they'd want to play there?

Yeah I think we give an allotment of tickets that is larger than normal for a road game when we do these MBS things. I could be wrong.
 
Their Mr. Wonderful quarterback Nico didn't show up to spring practice today, holding out for a new NIL contract.

I might be in the minority, but I was looking forward to attending that game at Center Parc Stadium. In-state games always have that extra spice. Tech would have likely murdered the Panthers, especially with how the Jackets keep improving.
