Hmm. Maybe. Probably not? I dunno. It may also be the only way to get these SEC teams to come play us.

JBatt didn't make the deal. You know who did.Glad we don't have to play AT Ga State. JBatt should never have agreed to a home and home with them.
very true. Big name OOC is a revenue generator.I think with ACC money being distributed based some on how many people watch our games, this is smart. Plus, beating Tennessee will help us more than beating Ga. State. And, we're already beating one team on the road in Georgia that year, so don't need another in-state gimme.
Mostly. You still have USC v Notre Dame type games as well, a few historical rivalries that are bot geographically based but more based on historical matchupsRegional rivalries are the only thing that willsaveresurrect and make college football a good sport again.
Yep. This will result in $$$$ and another solid win. It will also increase our ranking before the win, as all Sec opponents have to be ranked before they play.I think with ACC money being distributed based some on how many people watch our games, this is smart. That can't be the case, we just hosted Ole Miss at BDS a few seasons agoIt may also be the only way to get these SEC teams to come play us.
It may make it an easier sell. But you’re right. At the time Ole Miss wasn’t what they are now though and I think there were rumors they were trying to move the game or get out of it entirely. That can't be the case, we just hosted Ole Miss at BDS a few seasons ago
No fruit sucks like the Big Orange."Nothing sucks like the whole state of Tennessee..."
Would we give Tennessee a portion of the MBS gate to sweeten the pot? Or do you think MBS is just that big a draw that they'd want to play there? It may make it an easier sell. But you’re right. Yeah I think we give an allotment of tickets that is larger than normal for a road game when we do these MBS things. I could be wrong.Would we give Tennessee a portion of the MBS gate to sweeten the pot? Or do you think MBS is just that big a draw that they'd want to play there?
I might be in the minority, but I was looking forward to attending that game at Center Parc Stadium. In-state games always have that extra spice. Tech would have likely murdered the Panthers, especially with how the Jackets keep improving.I'm hearing we're dropping the Georgia State game.
That doesn’t surprise me, the next thing that will start happening is midway through the season players threatening to not appear for games because they are not receiving enough playing time or carries.Their Mr. Wonderful quarterback Nico didn't show up to spring practice today, holding out for a new NIL contract.
