The knee-jerk answer from our GT perspectives would be no -see GT/UGA 2013 ... or 2009.

But, given the circumstances, in-state rivalry, 0-14 since 2003, all the points I posted above from a UVA board covering how UVA could’ve/should’ve won the game, one of VPI’s weakest teams in a while, particularly on defense, one of UVA’s better teams in a while -yeah, it’s a pretty demoralizing loss for the Hoos.
 
Yea, but we weren’t close to recruiting high school kids who weren’t even born the last time UVA beat VPI. If I was UVA fan right now, I’d be spiking my Zima with sleeping pills, slitting my wrists and hanging myself with my pretentious ass blue and orange tie.

There was an egregiously bad fumble called on UVA in the first half when they were driving the field, but I mean, there was a lot more football after that that UVA robbed from themselves.
 
UVA's losing streak is slightly older than my GT fanhood.

I havent seen any GT losses that bad. 2013 v dwags was pretty horrific, but pales in comparison to what we just saw happen to the Hoos.

True -and GT has won 8. Charlottesville, as it is well known, has been one of the more tougher, if not the toughest, road game amongst ACC opponents for Tech.
