Hope all you Jaybo fans are happy .....

Defense played well, and it wasn't as bad as the score indicated. Look at the start positions of their last 3 TDs:

1: Roddy Jones Fumble - 20 yd line
2: Jaybo Fumble - 25 yd line
3: Onside Kick - 40 yd line

With that UNC had 6 points as a given. I can't blame the defense for being gassed after the punt return fumble, nor just a little while later after the 2nd fumble. They just ran the ball hard 2nd half when it was clear we were both tired and lost the momentum.

But it would have been nice to hold them to a FG try on at least one of those drives. The first two drives were all running plays and we could not stop them at all.

The defense was not the problem in this game. 7 points in today's game was pathetic. Our problem today was that we couldn't get points. We had more total offense today than UNC...but we couldn't covert the yards to points.

Okay, I've just run your comment into my Knowshonatrator, and here's how it came out:

"Our defense dominated their offense. The points we scored are no indication of how dominant we were on both sides of the ball. We moved the ball on them all day and stopped them all day. This game was decided by two or three freak bounces of the ball and questionable calls. We were the better team out there today. There is nobody on their team that I couldn't easily hurdle."

We had injuries, turnovers, and poor special teams plays. Those combined to get us in an untenable situation at which point the score got away from us because we were taking risks that didn't pay off. This could've been a 10-7 game at the final had a few things gone our way. They didn't, so it was 28 - 7.

I would have thought we are all Jaybo fans. I thought he looked great against Miss State and good against Duke. I think the concussion hurt him more than we realize. I didn't think he looked good on the sidelines at the GW game. And, I think he has looked much more tentative since coming back than he did early.

Injuries are killing us on offense. We will need tremendous depth with this offense. QB's and RB's take some hits. I remember the number of injuries with Pepper's offense was high - by mid-season one year Myers, Sims, Rucker, and perhaps another back were all out. I think Auburn took out two or three by themselves. I can remember injuries forcing Bucky Shamburger to play QB.

Um, weren't we laughing at Georgia fans for saying this, or similar to this, last weekend against Florida?

The GBI stepped in and took the idiot out of the area as he yelled "You know NOTHING about Georgia Tech football, do you hear me!?" What's worse is he didn't appear to be drunk.

As some people were beginning to leave the Virginia game in the 4th quarter, someone coming down the stairs yelled "F*CK YOU NESBITT!" and they would have been in a heap of trouble if any of us could have figured out who said it.

I just don't understand it. Not at all.

Were they wearing Buzz Off tee shirts? :laugher:

I don't know where this anti-Jaybo movement is coming from

It's a delayed reaction from the "pro-Jaybo" movement a month ago.
