Man, I'd love to see MJ on the opposite side from Mario Williams on the Texans D-Line. Haven't seen too many Tech guys cycle through the Texans lineup (Tony Hollings was a miserable failure as a supplemental draft choice, Nick Ferguson is still on the roster and hopefully will be back in '09).

Of course, the projected No. 1 pick bugs the crap out of me - It's not just all the money and notoriety that goes with the top pick, but to think of fat boy throwing to Calvin just irks me - Best of all worlds for me would be for Stafford to flop big time and CJ to move on to a real NFL team.

I may not like Corky, but I would like to see someone with half of an arm throw to Calvin at least one time during his career. How much longer til his contract is up and he can run away from Detroit?

I just don't see why you'd draft a pass rushing DE when you already have one in Mario Williams.

One good DE doesn't get you there, especially when you're not getting a good bullrush up the middle from your tackles either. Texans have run through numerous folks at the other DE and even tried some rush-specialist LB/DE swing types (Roosevelt Colvin, for one) to help out Mario, but nothing seemed to work. He's almost always double-teamed and often the blocking back is waiting around to pick him up if he gets by the first two. Getting someone on the other side to force some attention over ther would be huge.

I'm kind of hoping the Ravens let Terrell Suggs walk - He'd be a great fit, especially since Texans freed up a nice chunk of salary cap money when they cut Ahman Green and Morlon Greenwood recently. I think Peppers would be too pricey, assuming the Panthers let him walk.

I think he has 4 years left.

I'd love for the hometown Falcons to get him. Lord knows Jamal Anderson (DE) isn't doing anything...

You mean there's the potential for having Stafford throw to Calvin?

My point was in the NFl, MJ is a pass rushing DE until he can prove to stop the run. With Mario Williams and MJ on the same team, I'd run up the middle every time. With an end like Mario Williams I'd be looking at a DT or a MLB to compliment him with not another DE.
