Clemson is the only relevant program in the ACC. Who else would qualify to be in the rankings?

I hear you but they did beat usce-one of the SEC hard to beat teams:) 28-0 in bowl game. They deserve to be top25.

UVA beat USCE 28-0 in bowl game - sounds top 25 to me.
 
All of you asking who else from the ACC should be in are the ones that have been brainwashed. Right now UVA and Florida are comparable teams. But Florida’s been SEChyped so much that you think it’s normal for them to be Top 10 and UVA unranked.

Maybe neither of them get to 7 wins this year. Maybe both play for the conference title. But right now they’re comparable. But Florida gets the nod solely due to name recognition and conference affiliation.

And now when UK beats UF week 3 they’ll jump to near the Top 10 and Florida will drop to 15. And when FSU beats uva week 3 neither will be ranked. So we’ve manufactured perceived conference strength out of thin air.
 
ACC is gonna be pretty bad this year which makes me believe we’re winning more than 4 games they’re projecting us to win. Not surprised there aren’t any in top 25 other than Clemson. And don’t really give a shit. öööö em. We always control our own destiny. We got two permanent (at least for the time being) top 5 teams on our schedule every year. Beat them and don’t lose to ööööing Duke or North Carolina and we’ll sit at the big boys table.

Biggest gift they gave us is ranking Clemson number 1 before we beat them in 27 days.

I look at the performance from last year between UVA-UF and come to the conclusion that they aren’t equals. Common opponent of one team and UVA winning by a larger margin doesn’t prove to me they were equals last year or this one. I hope UVA is better than UF this year and proves me wrong.

öööö that. UVA isn’t playing uga. Florida is. I hope Florida is 250 times better than uva. I couldn’t care less how well uva or any other acc team does.
 
maybe you guys don’t realize this but a weak SEC East, with lay over and get ööööed Tennessee and cuckold Florida, they’re letting uga walk to the sec championship every year. I will root for those two teams any day over UVA’s and dukes of the acc. Doesn’t do us any good if they’re good. Because they will never be good enough to command respect. But they will be good enough to beat us and I don’t really care to lose any more acc games.

Yeah, I'm also not buying that comparison. UF didn't lose to Indiana, and absolutely annihilated a top 10 Michigan team. Also beat the LSU team that beat the dwags.

2015: UF #21, UVA #50
2016: UF #12, UVA #63
2017: UF #11, UVA #58
2018: UF #14, UVA #59

FSU is still a ways away. That O line, which has been dreadful, hasn't gotten exponentially better suddenly.
I just wonder what the Cuse is going to be like without Dungey at QB. He did finally exhaust his eligibility, correct?
I think UVa might be the second best team in the ACC. They had a top 20 defense last year (in yards allowed ... we faced four top 20 defenses last year and went 2-2 against that group, fwiw) and Perkins can be a difference maker at QB. but yeah, that loss at the end of last year to VPI was ... headscratching.
 
No ACC Coastal teams -good, looks like the division is there for the taking.
