Where is a safe area to stay? I am looking at a few places near the stadium right now but want to make sure im not gonna get shanked or anything.

I'll protect you. I've been listening to Lil Wayne and getting back to my days in the streets. They'll be no match

Just walk around like a crazy person. Twitch and shake if ur walking all alone as if you have terets.

Works every time.

If anyone around there gives you any trouble, just punch them in the face.

Try something on North Westshore if you want close to the stadium and safe. This is about as close as you can get in a good area. Try the area bordering I-275. The intersection of I-275 and North Westshore (Exit 40-A) is exactly 2.85 miles from Raymond James Stadium.

So I am guessing the La Quinta on Spruce St is not a good choice then.

Do an immediate search around the address for pawn shops, liquor stores, and check cashing operations. That is always a good sign.

On the flip...look for how close the hotel is to Starbucks...Chick-fil-A...that type of thing.

Hm. I wonder if the microtel inn is in a good location or if I should try for a switch.

...a good sign that you need to stay there.

You can sell some stuff, cash the check, and then buy alcohol.

Try around the airport there is one on CYPRESS ST. can't rem the name Its a hilton type.

don't know your price range.... but I would reserve a cheap hotel on Dale Mabry... And then try Priceline (downtown Tampa) tomorrow morning. You may get a deal on a last second hotel thru Priceline and if you do, you can then cancel the cheap hotel on Dale Mabry near the stadium.

Go to betterbidding.com for bidding advice.

We got the Comfort Inn about 1 mile from the stadium on N Dale Mabry and it has generally positive reviews. There is a Holiday Inn right next door. Also this area has a Mercedez dealership so it can't be bad.

To the person who said Microtel Inn. Read the reviews. They are horrid.
