How bad is it to sit on the LSU side?

I'm looking at some tickets in sec 349 and 318. Section 349 is better and I can get the tickets for less. The down side to the sec 349 tickets is that they are on the LSU side from what I can tell. I've heard LSU fans are pretty awful and I'd rather not sit there, but I like the idea of having a better view of the game. Thoughts?

Grow some chest hair, get drunk, and sit with the stinky cajuns.

Do it. Nothing to be ashamed of. The more GT people that sit in the LSU section equals less fans for them and more for us.

That's kinda the way I looked at it. I hope the stadium is filled with GT people even on the SEC side. Bought the tickets.

Good. It would be great to see majority of the stadium filled with Tech fans.

Not if we're winning and you don't mind the smell of corndogs.

I sat in the middle of the LSU section the last time we played them in the Peach. Actually had a pretty good time for the most part. They were definitely drunk and rowdy, but I just talked football to them and they were fine. I did have to cuss one guy out but his wife took my side so nothing came of it. The only thing that really pissed me off was the 9 or 10 year old kid who kept chanting "you suck". Finally decided to ignore him instead of making fun of him and he shut up.

LSU fans are bipolar. If their team is winning they act psychotic and start yelling at the opposing team's fans (I experienced this at many Tulane vs. LSU games growing up in NOLA). If their team is losing, they become extremely submissive and docile. But, then again, doesn't this describe most of the SEC teams' fans.

Section 345 baby! You won't be the only Tech fan. Warm up to them, drink their whiskey, then watch them crawl under a rock after the whipping begins!
