How good would Sims and Gibbs be in CPJ 3O?

The reason it worked was because of lack of familiarity. See the Air Force outcome.

NFL teams with their unlimited practice time would be fully prepared every time.

Without a TE, pass blocking struggles greatly with TO.It looks like Sims best runs are QB fake passes. He would also be the best technical passser ever for PJ but not best ball-handler at all.

Even the Ravens benefited from being very multiple. I'm not sure how a true triple option team would do in the NFL, and PJ's history suggests he would be reluctant to deviate from the flexbone. He would also HAVE to have one of the top 3-4 most athletic QBs in the league (and probably one of the top 10 most athletic as a backup) in order for it have a chance of succeeding.

Could work in the XFL

The change was earthshaking. We went from 22-3 over 25 years to losing five of the most recent six games.

The change in Duke’s program?

Because they had 1 winning season between 1990 and 2012. Averaged 2.8 wins a year over that period.

From 12-18, they averaged 7.5 wins a year and went to bowls 6 out of 7 years.

So acting like the sky is falling because you lose to a consistently good program - just because they historically weren’t very good - makes no sense.

Sims would be horrible, he wouldn’t have even commuted. Gibbs would be a star. He would’ve been the next Roddy or Choice. Tobias woulda still been the starter and he would improved immensely.

Doesnt' Carson Newman have a message board you can whine on?

I know a young man that played at CN and hey said you are a pussy.

And how is this whining. If you honestly think sims would be good in a flex one set ur full of it

Sims and Gibbs would not be within 300 miles of Atlanta. GT would be playing a DB at QB and some 5’ 7”, 200# walk on at RB, behind an OL averaging 6’0”, 260#.

And we would probably have a winning record and be going to a bowl game.

It is amazing how GT keeps getting better and better recruiting classes but the product on the field keeps getting worse.
