how is this even out yet

I'd love to beat the **** out of Notre Dame in the Gator Bowl ... again ...

I have difficulty believing both VT and FSU reach a BCS game. Mostly cause that would probably have to mean we lost to both of them. Possible, but I'd be surprised if we lost back to back important games. Unfortunately, if we beat FSU but lose to VT and both us and FSU have identical records at the end of the season (especially if it's one loss which would be neccessary for BCS hopes) FSU would go to a BCS game before us....

I don't know which is more amusing or idiotic: FSU, and their magical receiverless offense getting a BCS at-large or Notre Dame getting six wins.

Preseason polls like this are stupid, and usually not even close to accurate.

If we turn it over like we did last year...GT plays in the Gator Bowl.

If we hold on the ball....ORANGE BOWL.

These guys obviously have a high opinion of NC State. They have their QB (Russell Wilson) on their sleeper list for Heisman.

Granted...they also list Jaquizz Rodgers of Oregon State as a QB instead of a RB, so...

I don't care what position he plays, that is a fantastic name.

What if he hold the ball all year... NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!?

We were undefeated when turning the ball over less than 3 times last year.

But then again we were nearly undefeated when turning the ball over less than 3 times under Chan.

A lot of teams are nearly undefeated when turning the ball over less than 3 times. That is kind of like executing LSU's roadmap for beating us.

What's even better is this guy is solely responsible for keeping USC out of the national title game (if any of you watched that loss you'll know what I mean).

Well, one way or another, I will make the claim now that we go undefeated again this year when under 3 turnovers.

I watched the USC game against Oregon State. Rodgers was unbelievable. I believe he was supposed to be a really highly touted recruit but things did not get as publicized about him (as the recruiting sites seem to do) once he committed. And, he committed only b/c his brother is a less talented, but respectable, wr there.

Its not that I see us losing any game. I just don't see us not losing between one and three games to any of a handfull of our tougher opponents.

We are going to be good. But we have weaknesses.

I agree 100% We have major problems on the line. We lack depth and experience.

We have a great shot at winning the ACC, but not the national championship.

I would hate to play in the Gator Bowl against Notre Dame. If we want to win a championship in the next couple of years, we need to play a team better than the Irish.

We need to go out of our way to get bigger, faster and stronger non-conference opponents.

I believe we've got the talent to win an ACC crown and potentially the crystal ball.
