How many points do we give up this week?

Okay.

Find me a different sample that says UConn's defense isn't 3.5x better than ours. You can't. Because their defense is definitely at LEAST twice as good as ours. Edsall is a defensive genius.

people i would take back to run the D:
Ted Roof
George O'Leary
Randy Edsall

people i would NOT take back:
Jon Tenuta

So, the first 2 quarters of the Clemson game just don't count? Those 2 quarters probably better approximate how we'll do against UNC after 9 days rest.

you apparently cant read, since we cant take back what we have not lost

you are being hasty and not showing the class of a Tech man to not throw your coaches under the bus

maybe follow Georgie?

Sorry I was being presumptuous. I should not assume he is going to be gone anytime soon. For all I know, he can turn it around and be a dominant force with his own players.

Time will tell.

Thank you for humbling me kind sir. :)

I just looked it up.

In UConn's last 6 quarters of play, they've forced 11 punts and/or turnovers. We've forced 2 punts and/or turnovers.

So that's 5.5 times better.

And they've played:

Ohio
UNC (that was missing 3 OL)
Baylor

Our D has problems, but our stats would like much better playing Uconn's schedule.

Draughn and Little are two very impressive RBs, and they're exactly the kind of backs that usually eat us alive: big, not that fast, but can run over people. Little, especially, is a bastard to tackle. It wouldn't surprise me if he ran all over us.

Little is pretty much playing only WR now. If we don't turn the ball over or have one three and out after another, we'll keep them under 20. Offense and defense are not unrelated in a football game. Three or four long drives by our offense will make our defense look a whole lot better.

What if Tenuta ran the 4-12-9, and only blitzed 9, leaving double coverage on all the remaining eligible receivers? What if he wore the right shade of gold while he coached?

then, on both counts i would consider him magical, but hopefully still on the NotreDame sideline

we need every coach, especially coordinators, to be part of the recruiting effort and be team oriented. Jon refused to be. sorry, but this aint the NFL.

move along
