Does anyone know how much talent UGAG will lose from this year? I know they've got talent stockpiled, but at least they might have to break some new players in and maybe be down a notch. Given that their schedule next year is a joke, I just hope they're not in a position to win a damn 3rd title.

College football wasn't meant to be a game of players who are millionaires. That's called the NFL.
The fact that UGAG is doing this with players who are no more students there than I am is just disgusting.

Sadly they bring back just as much talent as they're losing......New QB though so thats a hope for them to fail miserably next season.

Why in the hell is everyone so obsessed with talking about the Dwags. Who cares? We played with them for 3 quarters last time and we will “öööö them up” in 2023.

For f*’s sake, 100%. For 40 effing minutes we gave them all they could handle, and if not for self inflicted wounds and the referees’ assistance, anything could have happened. Key can remind them of that öööö next year when we’re vying for a effing playoff spot going into thanksgiving weekend.

Don't underestimate how significant losing Bennett will be. He kept that team together and progressing much because of his age and maturity (years of playing). There is a significant difference between the physical and mental progress of a 25 yr old vs the typical 20-21yr old QB, not to mention the extra years of film study and reps.
There will a dropoff in QB next year and that will make a serious difference.

The kid who needed a special coach just to talk to him instead of his actual coach was holding the team together?

Can't wait to see what next year looks like it so.

Depends on if they have to play Bama in regular season next year. This year's schedule was criminally easy for them. We need UF and UT to stop sucking and do it quickly.

Thread #2 on the ignore list.

Can only take so much of this.
And yet you felt the need to come post your "look at me, I'm so edgy" post.

If you want to ignore a thread, ignore it. Nobody really gives a öööö.

I care. I really care.

UGA is concerned about Texas joining the SEC and ironically, NIL and transfer portal. The economics in America look good for oil owners. And Texas is full of them. NIL and the CFB portal will make it impossible that the little guys will ever be relevant in CFB any time soon—TCU proved that. But it will work against Bama, OSU, and UGA. USC is Hollywood. UGA has no financial advantage over them. USC will be loaded very soon and competing for NCs.

I talked to my Uncle last night (he's a Double Dwag) but he actually respects Tech and roots for them often, as my grandad, his dad, was/is a Tech alum/donor for many decades.....On who they were losing & this is what he told me:

Stetson Bennett- QB
Broderick Jones- starting LT
Sedrick Van Pran- starting C
Warren McClendon- starting RT (depends on draft grade)
Darnell Washington- starting TE
Kenny McIntosh- starting RB
Jalen Carter- starting DT
Robert Beal- starting DE
Nolan Smith- starting DE
Kelee Ringo- starting DB
Chris Smith- starting DB

He said to expect a decent amount of portal players too........

If their schedule wasn't an absolute cake walk AGAIN, I'd say they'd lose 2 games next years.

They lost 15 to the NFL last year, 5 first rounders and barely missed a beat. Hopefully losing that many 2 years in a row will prove costly.

I think losing Stetson will matter. He was a QB that finally was able to optimize the immense skill talent they always have.

Otherwise, they have just as talented/athletic of players on the 2 and 3 deep at every position. Also their schedule is Charmin soft. Unlikely they lose more than maybe one game in the regular season.

True, they seem to just reload now....

It has to. Unless they just happen to have their own Bryce Young waiting in the wings.
