How much talent does UGAG lose from this year?

I think losing Stetson will matter. He was a QB that finally was able to optimize the immense skill talent they always have.

Otherwise, they have just as talented/athletic of players on the 2 and 3 deep at every position. Also their schedule is Charmin soft. Unlikely they lose more than maybe one game in the regular season.

I’m sure they will find a very accomplished portal QB. The position pays well.

I talked to my Uncle last night (he's a Double Dwag) but he actually respects Tech and roots for them often, as my grandad, his dad, was/is a Tech alum/donor for many decades.....On who they were losing & this is what he told me:

Stetson Bennett- QB
Broderick Jones- starting LT
Sedrick Van Pran- starting C
Warren McClendon- starting RT (depends on draft grade)
Darnell Washington- starting TE
Kenny McIntosh- starting RB
Jalen Carter- starting DT
Robert Beal- starting DE
Nolan Smith- starting DE
Kelee Ringo- starting DB
Chris Smith- starting DB

He said to expect a decent amount of portal players too........

If their schedule wasn't an absolute cake walk AGAIN, I'd say they'd lose 2 games next years.

There's always one apple that falls far from the tree, lol. But he's doing well for himself as a partner at King & Spalding downtown so he isnt your typical missing all his teeth gagger fan. He's also one who wasn't raised with pure hatred in is heart for Tech.

Agree Joe, but there isn't a pre-game speech that Kirby could deliver to have this year's team beat last year's. Somebody with a decent OL and good passing QB will be their undoing in 1-2 games before year end---see OSU game this year.

They have 3 QBs that most any program would kill for next year, still though you never know what's above the shoulders until the heat is on. They will probably sign Daniels again-lol.
