How the öööö is there not a bowl game on New Years Eve?

Actually enjoyed an evening with my wife to see in the new year without watching the playoff semi-finals. Great prime rib dinner, music and conversation enjoying the Christmas tree, watching A Royal New Year’s Eve and then seeing the ball drop. Less stressful than if I had been watching the Dawgs and Sooners.

They actually moved it for a good reason. So that all the playoff implication games would be played at the same time.

I don’t know how people can complain about that. They sacrificed ratings for better games.
