my understanding is that when it's local and on Bally, you can only access through espn3 via vpn as it is blacked out here.

If you are watching via a mobile app, it most likely verifies location via GPS, not by your IP address.

If watching via a laptop, you might have better luck using a VPN.

I use Express VPN on my phone, iPad and laptop and ESPN works for all three. But if I try to mirror to my TV or plug in my iPad into my TV, ESPN will block the picture. Plugging my laptop into my TV via HDMI works fine though.
 
I'll be at work so I won't be able to catch it. Maybe that will be a good thing. I'll be on here with all you miserable bastards, though! Go Jackets!

What if you like to watch the game on your huge 72 inch screen TV? Does that mean you're just a washed up boomer, and eff you?
