yes, i would love you to. This is interesting to see how much influence Luellen had. That's a sign of a leader, something Stafford or moreno is not (Yes, i will dog the dogs anytime, especially if its true).

Had offers from GT and Miss st. Picked GT because of academics and he likes coach smith. Was a teammate of brad Jefferson in HS. Jordan Luallen and J.C lanier talked to him a lot. His cousin is BJ bostic who is one of the best DB in nation for 2010. Crenshaw had 13.5 sacks his junior year.

Was our first commit. Had offers from GT, Clemson, FSU. Really likes CPJ. Says he has a good connection with the staff. Weighs around 320 now. Says he hopes to earn a starting spot.
 
with the list of other schools' offers, it feels like we did better this year than last year.
 
Phew, from the title of this thread I was anticipating something a lot more ominous...
 
I'm going to do my own breakdown for every player now. I will rate them on a scale from one to five star. I will base this how they fit into our system! Fell free to share your input.
 
Jordan Luallen - as you know he is our " ambassador" of the class. He has helped a lot landing these recruits. He stayed on Stephen Hill the whole time! Luallen is a great fit for our system. He is a big QB at 6 ft 3 but is a little slim. He ran a wing t type of offense at his highschool. His coach actually got some of the plays we run from CPJ and ran them this year. Luallen has good but not great speed. His pitches are perfect and he seems to make good reads. His arm is great. Just look at the schools that wanted him to be a pro style QB. Luallens best strength IMO is his ability to throw on the run. Although his team doesn't pass a lot he didn't throw any INTs his jr year and only threw a couple this year. I think he is headed for a redshirt unless something major changes. I would rate him as a 4 star.
 
David sims - good lord look at all those offers! All the schools that run a spread wanted him at QB. Other schools wanted him at rb or safety. He had over 4,000 yards and 50 tds last year. Sims reminds me a lot of nesbitt. Sims has a different kind if throwing motion that may be tweaked with. Has a great arm but not the best accuracy. When he is running he reminds me of michael vick. I know high comparison and all the dog jokes. But Sims is really fast. He has great moves and runs over people. Sims has never run a system like this. So I think he will redshirt. Sims could end up at a back if things don't work out. He is very versatile and the best athlete we signed IMO. I would rate him as a 4 star.
 
Orwin smith - only a back we took. Wasn't out top target but he was high up there. Recently had 8 carries for 62 in an all star game. This s the bigger a back like PJ wants. He's an excellent blocker. But yet is still fast enough to stretch defenses. Jordan Luallen helped a lot with him. Smith appears to have good hands. Smith has good speed but not great. He is very powerful for his size. Isn't afraid to run over a defender. Also has a 36 inch vertical. Will redshirt. I give him 3 stars.
