I call bullcrap on the ACC for giving Miami so much time to prepare for their two biggest division rivals.

9/07 @Florida State
9/17 Georgia Tech
9/26 @Virginia Tech

Wow, so they get 9 days to prepare for us and 8 days to prepare Virginia Tech? And there are no bye's in there?

I'm sorry but that has to be the best schedule I have ever seen. You can prepare all offseason for your biggest rival. Then have 9 days to hit off your other biggest threat. Then get 8 days to knock off the reigning ACC champ. After these 3 games are over, they have already played the big boys in the conference.

I am not much of a conspiracy theorist, so I am not going to say it was intentional. But, my God, they were lucky as all heck to get that opening stretch of games with so much practice time in between without having to use their bye week.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT AN EXCUSE AT ALL. IF WE LOSE TONIGHT IT IS OUR FAULT'S NOT THE SCHEDULE.

Hmmmm...let's see, they start with FSU, GT, VT, and Oklahoma. I'd say they can keep that schedule. I wouldn't want it. :wow:

I would. You get all your hard games out in the beginning of the year. It helps you with the polls to have easier game late rather than hard games late.

Not to mention you get a year to practice for each team.

If they go 1-3 I guess they might lose the swagga and the "U is Back!".

I don't think our offense is looking that bad. It's light year's ahead of last year's offense at this time. I wouldn't mind Miami's schedule, as brutal as it is, because of the preparation time. That said, they don't have any bye weeks at all, and I will take our week before Georgia as a blessing.

Oh I didn't see their no byes. But getting 8 days and 9 days to prepare for the best in the division is a good draw no matter what way you slice it.

I would argue that that got a bye week. Even though they played two days late; Monday night game, they didn't play the following weekend. That to me is a bye week.

Indeed the week between the FSU and GT games is their official bye week.
