I just thought I had to put it out there. Just for some proof, I made a top 10 reasons I hate them so much:

10. I've been woofed at in public...by a human.
9. They hog all the welfare in the state.
8. Its hard to go to a trailer park with a Tech tag and not feel way out of place.
7. They think they are a national power though they cannot win a National Title. UPenn has more national titles
6. Fatford and NoShow
5. Athens and specifically the arches. Its literally one of the most destitute counties in America. According to wikipedia, its the 5th poorest county with a pop over 100,000
4. Blackouts and nad licking dogs
3. They spell dog "D-A-W-G". That is one of those words you should know how to spell by kindergarten.
2. They have petitioned the Vatican to get Richt officially sainted.
1. This guy:

I hate UGA because they are usually better than us, and often beat us even when they're not better. I am confident that our current coach is turning that around. Enough with the hatred though, let's talk about love: I love it that they have the worst defensive coordinator in major college football and I love it that their NCD (National Championship Drought) is at 28 years and counting. I love it that they're probably going to run off St. Richt within the next 3 years and hire some new doofus. I loved it when Jasper Sanks fumbled and I loved it when the Goose got loose. And I love it that in Knowshon's last game ever in Sanfart Stadium, he was outgained by two Georgia Tech running backs and lost.

I've lost the picture of the guy with the painted dog on his head crying in the rain during the GT game. Can anybody post in on here again?

Thanks in advance.

Love the post, but I think you're out of your mind if you think that Richt is gone in 2-3 yrs....only if he leaves. He's gonna go down as athe Dooley of the 2000's . He'll he here as long as h =weats

OH and by the way....I wish I still had the phone I took the pic on but this is a true story.

I'm tipsy walkin' into the game the year we got our asses drug in Athens in the rain. Howeer, the only briaght spot was watching a DELAY OF GAME when a guy who obviously did it in the mirror had a perfect helmet painted on his head....stripe and all

However, since he did it in the mirror.... one of the G's was completely backwards but oh so perfectly drawn

You think they'll hang on to Richt if he loses to Florida and Tech the next two or three years in a row? Or even Florida + one or two of the following: Tech, Auburn, Tennessee? I'm not saying it will happen for sure, but it could, and if it does, he's toast. In fact, if UGA loses three games this coming regular season and one of them is to Florida by another blowout margin, I think that will be enough to put his holy arse in the hot seat. Don't take it from me though: Take it from the South's finest and best connected college football journalist:

Consider this: Richt hasn't accomplished as much as Tuberville or Fulmer did. Do you think that UGA supporters are more rational than Vols' or Auburn's?

This probably isn't exactly what you want but is enjoyable nonetheless:

speaking of Fatford, he really tore it up last night, didn't he?

amazing, $45,000,000 doesn't get you much these days, does it?

In their defense, most of them haven't gotten out of kindergarten yet.

I hate UGA because they came onto my campus six years ago and cut down some of the trees for their tailgating purposes. I hate UGA because they think that yelling nerds and insulting their future managers is a good idea. I hate UGA because they represent everything that is vile and unholy in the universe. I hate the hedges, I hate the arches, I hate that ugly ****ing inbred mutt. They had a funeral for a dead dog. And people cried. Well, I did too, but they were tears of joy and laughter. I hate them because they are stupid. Because they cheat. Because they're arrogant. And because they're too myopic and ignorant to see how little tradition and history their crappy school has.

**** Georgia.

Tech fans have a complection over UGA. Completely obsessed with them. :laugher: Its comical, they could care less to talk about us, and yet there is a thread once a week, year round, talking about georgia and how much everyone hates them. The part that pis*** me off is our fan base would rather beat UGA and have an average year, than beat VT, FSU, Miami and all other acc games, lose to UGA, and win the ACC Champ and go to orange bowl.
I think it should be plastered everywhere around the locker room:
THWVT
THWCU
THWUM
THWUNC

Im concerned more with championships, you dont go to a BCS bowl because you beat UGA.

I don't think we can claim they don't care about us. Pretty sure someone used google to show that the city with the most google searches for georgia tech football in the world was Athens, Ga.

Have you gone on any UGA boards recently? How do you know there aren't weekly "GT sucks" threads there?

On a final note, as much as fans say they would be fine in a season where we only be Georgia, I don't think the players really think that way. Plus you can't go to the National Champ game if you don't win your final regular season game, even if you win all the others.

You clearly don't read the comments section of EVERY article posted about GT on the A(thens)JournalConstitution.

Fail. The only game GT might play in that I would ever put at a higher importance than UGA is The BCS National Championship game. Even then, its a close call.

And you might go to a BCS bowl if you beat UGA if your only loss is to the team that wins the coastal (at large bid?).

But even then winning that bowl game wouldn't be as important as stomping the Mutts.

Yeah, that Orange Bowl is a real spectacle. Did you know that last year 57,821 people showed up? The stadium capacity is only 76,500, so they got over 75% capacity! Talk about getting your program some respect.

Unless you're talking about going to the BCS national title game, which I hear you only get into by LOSING to U[sic]GA!

Yeah the silicon valley bowl is better. My point is I think as a fan base GT fans should shift the focus of the number one goal to beat georgia to number one goal win the ACC Championship. Thats what I am saying.

A. The fan base has practically nothing to do with players' outlook on games, its the coaches that motivate them.

B. Beating UGA has more weight on getting to the BCS Championship than any regular season ACC game.

C. THEY'RE F-ING UGA!!!!

If you don't get C then I couldn't care less about your response.

BTW, the claim that other teams travel so well is a myth too. I went to the LSU/Miami Peach Bowl several years back and the upper decks were only about 60% full, and this is before anyone could blame it on the economy. Also, if you noticed last year when LSU played Arkansas in Little Rock or whatever stadium Arkansas decided to play it in (I don't even know where Arkansas plays to begin with and don't care, it just wasn't their home stadium) The place was 3/4 full.

I hate UGAg because they have fans that don't even know whay they are fans and actually know nothing about the team. I also had a supermarket incident after the 51-7 game on a Sunday morning (had my GT hat on) at about 10 am where I was actually followed around the store for a while by a couple of UGAg fans that kept saying things within earshot of me - never directly to me - 'ike "Hey Bubba, what was the score of that GT/UGAg game", "Hey Bubba, Tech Sucks!", "Hey Bubba, GT fans are NERDS" etc.....followed me down the aisles for about half the store, not really buying anything, just staying close enough to let me hear.

Finally, I stopped my cart, wandered over and said "Listen, It's Sunday morning. If you want to fight or something, we'll do it right here, in this aisle, right now and we will all go to jail together. Otherwise, leave me the fark alone it is farkin' SUNDAY morning". They got all wide eyed and tried to feign innocence, to which I just said "we'll see"

Who gives a **** what the fans priorities are? The only thing that can affect is stadium seating and odds are if you care enough as a Tech fan to actually pay money for a game you'd care enough to pay for multiple games if you could. Just my opinion, not fact.
