Also, for the record, I don't know how to fix our defense. If I did, I would probably be a football coach. You'll find in life that it's a lot easier to find problems than it is to come up with solutions to those problems. That doesn't mean that the problems don't actually exist. You'll also find that it's a lot easier to critique a performance than to actually do said performance. That doesn't mean that the critique of the performance is invalid.

EDIT: Also, I'm pretty sure I've never claimed that THWG knows nothing or even insulted his knowledge, despite his several claims of me saying that he knows nothing. The one thing I did was quote GSU in this thread, and that was mainly to dispute that winning and losing is the only stat that matters and all else can be ignored. Sure that's true after the season, but it's definitely not true when trying to predict future performance OR to explain a win/loss.

With this D every team on our shedule will score tone of points. Our O has to score on every possession from now on to the rest of the year. Impossible, we're going to lose some games we shoudn't

You don't hate to say it. Nearly every post you've made has been ripping on the D. Don't sugar coat it with 'I hate to say it...' cause you don't.

I think our defense sucks right now, but can be better than we've seen, but I won't come out whining about us losing because our D sucks. I think our coaches will make the changes to make sure we win.

They are young considering I believe on 6 started last year....Reese I believe only started 1/4 of the season. and I may be wrong but I don't think that Griffin started the entire season.

The only guys that haven't started before this season are the guys that replaced Johnson, Walker, and Richards. The other non previous starter is Julian Burnett because he's a true frosh.

The bottom line is our DC isn't that good. We have talent, but they play absolutely lost. Just watch the way Tarrant plays and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Here's my take.
1. We are fairly young with very little experience for the most part in a starting role

Why are you now backpeddling with this "fairly" modifier crap? Either we're young or we're not, and Ish already pointed out that we're not young. Geez, I sure hope your girlfriend is not "fairly" pregnant.

3. Our Secondary is feeling the heat and lookin like **** due in part to the play and inexperience of #2. Simply put; no DL push or penetration on or at the LOS leaves them on an island and open for a VERY BAD OUTCOME

Maybe, but how do you explain the consistently poor angles, tackling, etc. from our secondary. I can think of at least four instances in six games where the other team has had a big pass play simply because we take bad angles or our guys collide like the Marx brothers instead of making the tackle. If our guys should be in position and repeatedly fail to make tackles, it's a coaching problem.

You cant dismiss the fact that our secondary played a poor game. Sure, we didnt get much pressure on Ponder but F$U's receivers were running open early making Ponder's reads quick and efficeint, they werent breaking off routes and finding space. There is such a thing as a coverage sack, and we never even sniffed one. In some cases receivers had good separation from the nearest defender(in man coverage) before Ponder even planted his foot.

F$U has mismanaged a few plays and ended up on the s#^& end of the stick giving them such a bad record, but these guys are still stocked with talent. We wont face another passing attack with that much talent the rest of the season

I do know a little bit about debate. You lose credibility with every post you make. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them a non-GT fan or an idiot. And it doesn't mean that a good ass kickin' will knock some sense into them. You argue like a 3rd grader... on steroids.

Bottom line I've only got a problem with a handful of folks on here (Ish, GSu, and gth). Not really personally, mainly in part that they'll criticize me which is fine but fail to show why they differ, or whatever which IMO is very Ignorant

Can't argue that. Which sort of throws mud on others on here theory of FSU being awful (obviously based on their record). their record holds no bearing on how ****in loaded with talent, athleti****, and speed. Regardless of the record that without of doubt is probably the best offense we've faced or may face this season

Buzz, I agree with you. I don't think that Wommack is Fantastic however I think he's being forced to make decisions and schemes due to the lack of talent at some positions. Tarrant for one has very little business playing where he is.
I do however think that IF we had our DL or 1/2 DL from last year we wouldn't be in the shape we're in.

He not the best Coordinator by any means, but he in my opinion is doing the BEST he can given the circumstances. And if it turns out it isn't the case I'll be the first to own up to being wrong

Rarely (with the exception of the same folks as mentioned earlier) have I come across that way. I DO however get fired up with those idiots and act like you say "a 3rd Grader on Steroids", but they've yet to debate me.
