<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Actually, a coaching job in the D-1 college ranks is more rigorous than being a coordinator in the NFL. In the NFL, the off-season is much more relaxed; there is an actual off-season. There is no real off-season in college ball. Recruiting, summer camps, booster clubs, keeping up with players' class work and attendance all contribute to the rigors of the job. In season, the NFL coach deals with a daily work schedule with men whose only job is to play football. In college, all is scheduled around classes, NCAA imposed practice limitations, and total weekly contact hours.I sometimes feel like CG thinks he has escaped the rigours of the NFL for a more relaxed job in college.

I don't think CG took the job so he could ride the gravy train. I believe he is here to win. I'm extremely disappointed in the loss; we should have won. But you have to give it a chance to work.
