That cheating piece of **** was on Dan Patrick's show this morning lobbying for his wins back (which frankly, I'm was all for him having) but in the process of defending himself instead of offering decent evidence he says "Well they took victories away from Georgia Tech, and gave them back to them, and the same thing with Oklahoma."

GT's infractions have absolutely no correlation with the blatant cheating FSU was doing. To bring our name down in the mud with yours to try and prove a wrongdoing against you is ****ing pathetic. **** Bowden. I hope they don't give him his victories and they run his cheating old ass out of FSU.
 
I hope Bobby Bowden finishes with the most career victories. Of course, I hope he gets the title by leading FSU though a decade of 1 wins seasons after Joe Pa dies.
 
I couldn't care less about his wins.... scholarships... strip the scholarships. Burn the team/school/brand for cheating. You wanna hurt a program; punish them by taking away their competetive advantage.

Bobby is doing that all by himself.
 
JoePa is so much more deserving of the honor than Bobby "Saint" Bowden.
First, much less cheating over the years
Second, what JoePa has done for Penn State financially is admirable, especially given his modest salary
Lastly, he is not a liar, and he coaches even when he craps his pants.
 
They should never have taken the wins away. They should have slapped him with a 5 scholarship per year reduction for four years. Instead, they got 3 total scholarships lost. The NCAA is the reason that this happened, because they took the pussy route and instead of actually slapping a real punishment, they handed out a token gesture that most schools don't care about. In the end, FSU will not face any repercussions for this.

As for St. Bobby's assertion that we got our wins back, we also lost 4 times as many scholarships. For a much lesser crime. Someone should point that out to him.

I don't think he really cares. I think he's motivated mainly by the win total nowadays.
 
Wait a minute, let me get this straight: There are football coaches named "Bowden" who are self-promoting jerks?
 
I hope the rest of Bobby Bowdens victories are axed just for him trying to get these back.

His program, under his direction, contrived one of the most sensational and systemic cheating scandals in the history of the NCAA. FSU should get the death penalty.
 
Who cares. He's a washed up senile old man trying to re-live his glory days which are obviously very over with.
 
All of Joe Pa's wins came from Div. I-A. Bowden counts wins from other divisions.

Paterno has the most wins in Div. I-A by 32 (even without considering the penalty). Only by including wins from another division (31) can Bowden get close to Paterno's claim. If that is the metric, then neither can lay hold of the record for most wins by a college coach. Eddie Robinson won 408 games in Div I-AA. John Gagliardi won 461 games.

So, Bowden has a long way to go. He's 32 behind Joe Pa. 26 behind Robinson. And 79 behind Gagliardi.

Thats the only way I would approve of it. However I would like to see him fall one short.
 
I hope CPJ gets mad, then rolls into Crapahassee and beats the old man down, in OBS fashion. I think a 40 point defeat/beatdown will be sufficient.

Staffers helping athletes cheat? Writing their papers for them? Only three scholarships lost!?! I hope that was because it was more pervasive in some of the other sports. What does it take to get a serious punishment? Money I guess...
 
What a dick. He got a freakin slap on the wrist and we got the shaft for a much lesser crime, yet he has the nerve to say that. **** him. They should lose more scholarships than us and lose those wins.
 
Quit whining everyone...

Hopefully CPJ will use this to motivate himself and our team before they travel to FSU.

Bowden might have just single-handedly fired up the Yellow Jackets. :biggthumpup:
