Depends on what schedule strength ranking you mean. According to many computer ratings we were in the top 10 in schedule strength.
e.g. #9 according to Massey:

or #6 according to Sagarin:

But according to the NCAA formula, we were #50. The NCAA formula is pretty stupid, because all it does is add up your opponents' won-lost record, so that Boise State is rated a tougher opponent than Miami or FSU.
