I sure hope I am wrong.......

I am still unwilling to say that, but Duke's QB would carve up the defense we put on the field today.
I would never endorse intentionally injuring a player under any circumstances. But if our defense doesn't get its act together soon and we're looking at getting eviscerated by Duke's offense again, I will absolutely endorse intentionally injuring a player. The question will be, who on our defense can do that job without injuring themselves instead? And I don't have an answer for that.

I thought we looked OK before injuries and ejections piles up. We looked like donkey shit on two special teams plays and decided to take the fourth quarter off. I think we can win 6 but I’m not excited about playing Clemson or VPI and I’m hoping that sinkhole swallows Athens before we have to play them.

It’s gojng to be a Chan Gailey season.

Good chance we could go into November with 2 wins if we lose next week. We aren’t beating Clemson, Louisville, Duke, or VPI playing the way we did today. That would make us 2-6 and we aren’t beating both Miami and Georgia in November. We won’t go to a bowl again this year.

Looking to see what we do to Pitt. We probably aren't going to have 2 kickoff return TDs and 2 targeting ejections.

Well, we play better when we are not expected to, so maybe we beat Georgia, next November.

I'm not so sure we can't beat Louisville playing like we did today. I know they were playing Bama last week; but they looked like a shadow of what they were last season.

Duke is not a toss up. Cutcliffe has had CPJ's number even in good years. Unfortunately I'm seeing a 5-7

Where do people get this kind of nonsense from? CPJ is 7-3 against Cutcliffe at Duke. There's only been one time when we had a good year and Cutcliffe won, and that was 2014. I don't know if we'll beat them, but the idea that Cutcliffe has CPJ's number is ridiculous. CPJ has been trending down the past three years, and losing to Duke 2 of those 3 years is just part of the overall downward trend we're all worried about.

What I'm hoping we saw yesterday was the last game of the 2017 season. Didn't we blow double digit second half leads in 4 of our losses last year? Didn't we have have special team breakdowns in most of the losses last year? Didn't the offense run up big numbers early and then shit the bed late with turnovers and missed assignments? Another loss on the road that was ours for the taking? I left RayJay yesterday drunk on deja vu. Either that is our fate for the rest of PJ's tenure, or the boys needed one last game to get it out of their system before getting down to business with the new DC.

Losing two starters on a probably tentative defense didn't help. Mason did well, but Benson would have done better. Oliver looked very good, but could LJ have made the difference when TM went down? We had two turnovers and three major penalties in the critical 4th quarter. Also, USF has some athletes.

It's hard to judge anybody against alabama at this point, but I think Louisville is a W.
I'm worried about Duke. That was a big win for them yesterday on the round against a tough Northwestern team.
Pitt, UVa and UNC are all different levels of bad.
The ACC circle of suck has regained momentum.
