I bought a Dell 8200 for Christmas, it has a 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 processor and 512 MB of RAM and a 80 GB hard drive. A buddy of mine a week later bought the new Dell 8250, so what did I do traded in the 8200 for an 8250. The new computer (8250) has the new Pentium 4 Hyper Thread processor running at 3.6 GHz. It also has a 1 GB of dual channel RAM and 120 GB hard drive.
Believe it or not, the 8200 is faster than the 8250 I bought and it performed flawlessly. Apparently Dell shipped the wrong video card in my new 8250, so they are sending me a brand new tower ensuring me that the new 8250 will perform faster than the 8200. Here is the question:
I still have the 8200, my gut says send back the 8250 and keep the 8200 because it seems very stable and is blazingly fast. Or should I just take delivery of the second 8250 with the correct video card and send back the 8200?
