I want Paul Johnson to father my children...

I am just excited about you GT football. I am not trying to call anybody out or play some "I am right, you were wrong" game.
This is the first time in years that GT is actually going to be a feared team. We had some pretty good teams the last few years but there was always the possibility that the team would go out and wet the bed. Everyone knew that.
I don't foresee anyone writing about the Paul Johnson Equilibrium anytime soon.

I'll step up and admit that I argued against hiring CPJ because I didn't want to "go back to the stone ages" with our offense (prior to the announcement of him being hired). But once it was official, I became a CPJ fan because I'm a GT fan - and the doubt in the ability of the offense became hope. And so far I like what I see although it's been far from perfect.

BC stopped the offense with exception of one play (Dwyer's TD run) and a couple of Nesbitt improvisations off of broken plays. It worked pretty well against VT we were just sloppy with ball control. Duke couldn't have played the option (all forms) any better - it seemed like they were in the huddle. But CPJ found something that worked (BayBay) and made adjustments - one of the things we kept hearing about him, his ability to adjust on the fly played out right in front of our eyes. On the other hand, the offense destroyed a good Miss St defensive team.

My expectations were low for this year because it does take time to install a new offense (see Auburn; see Tennessee; see Michigan; etc). What I didn't expect (or underestimated, or flat-out ignored) was how long it would take for CPJ to "install" a new attitude. I now see why he didn't blink an eye when some of the SR leaders on the team either quit football or transferred - if they weren't going to be all-in, they were going to be a distraction to everyone else who was/is all-in.
