Thanks to Lee Shaw! Anyway here is what I got.

Nesbitt looked like the old Nesbitt from the BC and VT game. He looked faster than I have ever seen him!

Anthony Allen is just a beast. I'm very impressed with him. He made a great catch on a long route and Nesbitt threw a beautiful pass. In fact I don't remember him dropping a pass.

JD didn't practice??? Anybody know what's up?

Jerrad Tarrant is a stud. Played great in coverage and played a good bit of special teams.

Richard Watson has shaped up and no longer has the gut.

Tyler Melton was the best WR today.

Practiced in just shoulder pads.

TJ Barnes is a big dude. Looked very impressive to me.

Offense went against the defense and looked sharp! I didn't see any fumbles.

Seen some new plays run today.

Anyways that all I got. Hope you enjoyed!

Thanks Eric! MUCH appreciated. AJC says Dwyer "tweaked his hamstring" . Hopefully nothing too serious. Sure is nice to know we've got quality depth in the backfield.

From a grateful out of towner...thanks again!

Damn now I really wish I could see the scrimmage tomorrow....

Seems like Dwyer's injury isn't overly serious if they are only holding till monday. From the sound it's something that can be cured with some stretching and rest.

I was the tall white dude standing with Izaan Cross near the start and then was with him and Daniel Drummond near the end. I was in beside the group of recruits.

Yeah, I was there.

Tall guy with the button up, slacks, and dress shoes on.

Well in that case, do you have any info that eric happened to miss GTland?

and were there any short dudes there? We made need a different perspective.

You're being accused of plagiarism over on buzzoff. What say you?

What do you expect, Beebad watches the same practice as other people with the same plays, and the same players, making the same plays. Exactly how many different observations can you make? I've read three different practice reports on three different boards, by three different people... guess what, they're all 90% the same. Go figure.

Oh wait.. Buzzoff attendees are special with exclusive rights that others don't have.... Give me a break. If Beebad can get into a closed practice, I guarantee you, anyone could.

Geesh guys, get a room already! :laugher:

No seriously, 'preciate the report. Glad you could make it. No, I wasn't there.

Beebad also just banned me and deleted my post because I said that accusing someone of plagiarizing when they both went to the exact same practice is ridiculous and childish.

Wow just read that. What a little baby. So I guess he's mad at the macon newspaper as well?

Speaking of macon paper, here are Coley's articles:

I’m not a big guy on losing your job when you’re hurt,” Johnson said, “but what I’m saying when I say, ‘This gives another guy a chance to displace them,’ is that when they get back and they’re rusty and the other guys are better than them, it gives the other guy a chance to shoot right past them.
“You can’t replace the reps, and the other guys are getting all the reps.”

But it didn’t appear to be too serious. Dwyer just has a minor hamstring injury and will return after the weekend.
Tweaking his hamstring during drills Wednesday, the running back was kept from exercises Friday as precaution, head coach Paul Johnson said.
“I just felt like we’d hold him out until Monday. I kind of know what he can do,” Johnson said, smiling.
With the Yellow Jackets participating for the first time this spring in major offense vs. defense drills, Georgia Tech’s receivers and running backs had plenty of opportunities to make some big plays.
Sophomore wideout Tyler Melton took full advantage of at least two of those chances, when he hauled in a pair of difficult receptions by diving to both his left and right, while keep his toes planted on the ground. Drawing scattered cheers from his receiver teammates, it was clear they approved of his efforts.
Another wide receiver who had some shine time Friday was former West Laurens standout Demaryius Thomas, who snared to tough sideline catches during the full team drills, including one that he likely would have scored on in an actual game.
On that pass, starting quarterback Josh Nesbitt lofted a 50-yard-plus bomb to Thomas, who caught it on a dead sprint toward the end zone, before pulling up short to jog back to the line of scrimmage.
The running backs were getting in on the action, too, as A-back Roddy Jones blazed across the field on one team drill, coming out of a cross route, and going untouched for what would have been another passing touchdown.
“I don’t know about better arm strength, they’ve always had good arm strength,” Johnson said of his quarterbacks. “But I think it’s noticeable between the third practice this spring as compared to the third practice of last spring.”

SOB! I said melton did good! Pieces of **** copied me!

Eric, beebad said that he probably won't be posting any more stuff on spring practice and that we could thank you for that. I just wanted to take this time to do that. I think everyone here appreciates your efforts, both in reporting on practice and in reducing the amount of posts beebad makes.

+ 1 -- of course, we are going to have to talk to Coley about copying you.
