And a few cane fans were saying "All you have to do is carbon copy what we did to stop that horrid offense, it's not that difficult to contain, I that's why everyone quit running it in the first place. Three yards and a cloud of dust if you defend properly and that's exactly what Miami did, they stopped it. Just do what the U did, there's a blueprint to stop it, so easy to game plan for."

And if anyone listened to this idiot that team would be in a world of hurt.

Nothing we can do to shut em up til next year. They beat us, let em be proud. Miami talks more **** about beating us than they do about beating FSU and Oklahoma. I like it.

I just think people shouldn't be so ignorant.. There is no blueprint. Look at the last two games. And many games before that. If we execute, you cannot stop us.

so BB and MA have been coaching college football for close to half a century, much of which the TO was very prevalent, but they are too stupid to figure out what this genius clearly has. It would only take watching 2 hours of thUg game film(I assume he means 2009 and not 2008) to figure out how to stop us. No wonder they want to run BB out of town, internet message board posters are smarter than they are.

CPJ said in his call-in show something to the effect of: any coach can look at film and figure out what we're doing; it's not all that complicated and there's no big secret. The issue is getting all the players on defense to understand what we're doing and for them to do what they're supposed to do.

So obvious.

And the fact they have to get off our blocks.

If u compare our Game vs the "U" in 2008 to 2009 we embarrassed them more than they did us. I guarantee we rip them a new asshole next year. Anyways, who cares what some coke head from Miami says. They r all geeked up out of their heads anyways. Whipple will get a HC position somewhere else in the next two years and they will suck again. They r gonna drop another game they shouldnt lose this year. FCK MIAMI and the retarded thugs that play for them. I'm drunk by the way....Go Falcons Baby!

I just hope we play Miami in the winter time next year and its bitter f-ing cold.

Bobby Bowden was talking all week about our wishbone offense(with the two receiver twist that he was shocked by of course), so I'm not sure how smart he is with regards to our offense...

He also still called it the Wishbone for the second straight year. Even after the first half was over and they interviewed him, he called it the wishbone....

We don't run the wishbone.

right right its easy - mind you role's and have 12 people on d

So people still do not realize that the offense IS an I formation if the ball is snapped when the A-back is in motion behind the B-back? I guess there's a blueprint out there to stop every last play out of the I formation. Idiots.

I listened very carefully to Bobby Bowden yesterday in his interviews. He explained the blueprint succinctly. You need a man on the fullback, a man on the quarterback, and a man on the halfback. That's how you defend the wishbone. He also elucidated the problem with FSU was simply one of execution, quoth Bobby: "It's like we don't know who [sic] to tackle."

So you see, any team can follow this blueprint and stop our wishbone, so long as they remember whom to tackle.

The fact that we run the exact same triple option wishbone play on every down is what makes our wishbone so easy to blueprint and stop.

We don't run the wishbone.

Well for God sakes nobody tell him in case we have to play them again sometime.

Maybe he'll try looking at some Steve Wooster highlights (before he started getting high too much that is) next time.

Have you listened to bob davie's explanation of it yet? We run nothing but the wishbone... well except we also occasionally run the "quarterback duck."

I am both surprised and disappointed that no one has yet covered the obligatory - "and get yo f*** mind rite."

Phew, now all is well.

But it wasn't just BB. The crappy announcers were calling it the wishbone as well. ...and since they do it, the incorrect label spreads to others who haven't really focused much on what we're actually doing. My own step-father called after the game to say what a great win it was and that it looked like we really have this wishbone thing working well. (I didn't correct him.)

Oh well, let the philistines go right on thinking we run the wishbone. :laugher:

UGA remembered whom to tackle. Seems like on every play in the second half last year they had 4 or 5 guys tackling Roddy Jones. They just forgot to tackle him all the way to the ground. So, may I take this liberty and make an addendum to the rule:

(1) Remember whom to tackle.
(2) Remember to tackle him all the way to the ground or out of bounds.
