I was on cbssports.com reading through some comments on the game...

And a few cane fans were saying "All you have to do is carbon copy what we did to stop that horrid offense, it's not that difficult to contain, I that's why everyone quit running it in the first place. Three yards and a cloud of dust if you defend properly and that's exactly what Miami did, they stopped it. Just do what the U did, there's a blueprint to stop it, so easy to game plan for."

Cut the Cane fans some slack. They had to wait 5 years before they could talk smack to GT. :D

Besides, all we have to do is watch the Miami-VT film to see how to stop the Canes next year. It isn't that difficult.... just 3 incompletions and a blocked punt. So easy to game plan for.

But it wasn't just BB. The crappy announcers were calling it the wishbone as well. ...and since they do it, the incorrect label spreads to others who haven't really focused much on what we're actually doing. My own step-father called after the game to say what a great win it was and that it looked like we really have this wishbone thing working well. (I didn't correct him.)

Oh well, let the philistines go right on thinking we run the wishbone. :laugher:

+ googleplex

I mentioned elsewhere that these announcers were unprepared, unprofessional turds, and the lengthy game-delay only further exposed their sorry asses.

BS like this isn't worth discussing anymore. We already know that any offense (option or pro-style) is only as good as it is executed.
