And looked around a bit at the TechSideline board. I'm curious whether there's any other fanbase with a forum the purpose of which is to serve as nothing but a 24/7 circle jerk?

Some of them actually believe that the majority of the Georgia Tech fanbase hates Virginia Tech more than Georgia. :laugher: Though I guess I should feel bad for them - one of the many things lacking from their less-than-storied program is a rivalry that anyone gives a **** about.

They're mocking our supposed obsession with them in the same thread that they're bitching about not being able to gain access to this forum. That's what we need is "VTisdarealtech" making threads to tell us that we get away with false starts on every single play of the game.

Moral of the thread: Don't visit TechSideline. That entire forum contains less intelligent discussion than a single religion thread starring GTKyle and Damarius in the OT forum.

I'm not sure but I've noticed a few with Hokie in their screen name. The best one was classlessGTtool. Don't know if that one was a VT fan though.

I am standing by my interpretation of their chest-bowing: fear. They are scared that we might hang 40+ on em. We are rolling now. We have one of the best offensive coaches in the country and he has something up his sleeve for em. They gave up 400 yards to Duke. We are all worried that we might have to score on about every possession to win.

So are they.

I like their bravado. I like that they're talking ****. Love it. What else are they supposed to do between now and kickoff anyway? Look at highlights from their last National Championship? (Funny, I can't find any VPI NC highlights and I have looked everywhere.)

Their traditional rival is actually VMI, no longer a player. WVA made sense as a BE rival and would as a permanent one. Maybe in the ACC, it should be UVA or NCSU.

Miami fans are pretty good when it comes to this, but they harp on dumb
things like their past national championships.

Not VT fans, no way. They would never bring up their past national
championships. They are way too above that.

VT fans stick to the "we're going to kick your ass on saturday" stuff. I
really appreciate that. It's refreshing. There's no mention of returning to
their former glory or comparing their coach to past VT coaching legends.

It's really a great board you guys have here. Everyone here has really
mastered the transitive property as well. I expect no less as it is a
Polytechnic Institute.
