Idaho moving

Wow. How is the Idaho fan reacting?
He got so furious he punched his girls' tooth out.

Wow. I wonder how they handle scholarships. I presume that means some kids will have to lose their schollys.

That sucks for them.

Idaho had 11,000 fans average attendance last season. FBS requires an average attendance of 15,000 over two seasons. Not sure if this was as much voluntary as it was writing on the wall.

They are famous for playing inside a warehouse (as the picture above displays).

Based on this logic, Dook should have been banned years ago.

I honestly really think that would be a cool place to see a game if the stadium was full. Small, enclosed environments are awesome ways to experience sports.

Of course, I'm guessing it rarely filled up.

Silly rabbit, NCAA regulations don't apply to North Carolina schools...

I believe it's based on tickets sold, not actual attendance. I'm sure Duke "sells" plenty of tickets.

Correct.

Never made sense to me. If I'm a team close to relegation, I drop ticket prices to $0.50 and ask alumni to buy.

Probably the right move for Idaho. I saw an article that said Eastern Michigan students and faculty are pushing the school to join the Horizon League and move all the way down to division 2 in football. So far, the administration is resisting, but I suspect we will see a few more schools at the bottom try to drop down in the coming years because it's just such a money pit for them.

They could add lacrosse and solve all their problems.

I would expect to see more schools do this outside of the power 5. Idaho can't even compete within its own state.

The entirety of the MAC is like a mini-FCS inside FBS.
