According to the AJC, Choice is questionable. Worst case he does't play, who starts? Grant? Evans? Dwyer?

Even more importantly...who gets most of the carries? I vote Dwyer.

Also, this could effect the game pending how effective our running game is (obviously) as TB will be put in much the same situation as he was last week and we will have to throw. But I have no idea how good Virginia's defense is.

I think Dwyer moves into Choice's role, judging by his performance as well as how he was used in the 2nd half against BC. I'm not sure that it changes much of anything in terms of our offensive playcalling...Mike

Dwyer starts, because Evans didn't see the field when Choice went down. And Dwyer has earned the spot, too.

On second thought, perhaps we won't use the screen pass as often to Dwyer -- not sure how great of hands he has coming out of the backfield...Mike

p.s. Dwyer is a beast. It will be a lot of fun to watch him for the next 3 years.

This may sound weird...but a part of me almost wants to see Dwyer start and play most of the game. I have the upmost respect for Deuce but I just love watching Dwyer run.

Kind of a slap in the face to Grant and Evans, but I can't say I disagree w/ it given what we've seen on the field thus far.

TechinIteasy, I know what you mean, I think there's just something about seeing the future stud on the field that gets you excited as a fan cuz you never know how good he will be. Kind of like the grass is always greener I guess.

Grant is just coming back and Evans is going to see the ball plenty as well. You want the best players to play right?

Hey cool... your sigs what I said! anyway Dwyer will start. He's purrrdy nasty. Fast, Tough, And he spins and jukes really well.

I would vote that Rashaun starts and Dwyer gets the majority of the carries.

Fellas there is a reason Grant has been here for 4 years and never started. Dwyer will start if Choice doesn't.

Rashaun started against NC State and had a very good game, 133 yards I think.

I meant started as clear #1, not because of an injury to PJ. my bad. But you're right he did have a good game; that doesn't change the fact that barring major injuries to Choice and Dwyer he won't be a starter. Why? It's certainly not because he doesn't have talent; he's probably the fastest guy on the team with the ball in his hands in open space. His problem is that he runs scared. Afraid to get hit. Like I said, he won't start.

I think they will put Dwyer back there to start, but if our running game doesn't work they will put in Grant for blocking purposes.

I never said he would start I was just defending him that he has started before, I said earlier in the thread who the starter is for Saturday

Rashaun plays a different position from Choice/Evans/Dwyer. He's not a plug & play RB. If Choice doesn't go (which, I think he will), then it will be an even mix of Evans & Dwyer. Dwyer would get more carries, not necessarily more snaps. It is my understanding that Evans is a better pass blocker.

Nesbitt and Dwyer are running the option this weekend.

Dwyer should start and to be honest he might be the best RB on this team. He is our best bet to bust out a big play without question.

TC is better than Dwyer. I think Dwyer might have some better open field speed, but that's about it.
